Hey,sorry guys I have a random question, Im impressed with the graphics of cliffs of dover, and my question, is it realistic as IL2 1946? Ive checked some videos on YT but seems little bit unrealistic especially weapon sounds and some physical effect such as no recoil when shooting etc... is it moddable to make it realistic as the 1946?
maybe the videos were old ones without latest patches.

I think as in IL2 history point of view it will eventually be modded, when all have newer pc's and bugs are fixed . Someone probably will crack that game too. The sim is more realistic and if the bugs isnt related to the gameengine it is better. But for my sake ROF is a mile ahead

Cockpit shake was removed by the developers because apparently the community requested it. 
Leone, kegetys already cracked CoD basically soon after it's release.  It's just that he hasn't taken the time to update the SFS dumper so it works with the latest patchs. Also, Steam might ban us if we use mods online, so Luthier has to have a little chat with the Steam Employees.

Thanks for sharing that Bravo, its a good article for sure.  I am also "on the fence" about switching to nvidia as i use a 6670 now,  and will soon have my pc slush fund up to snuff for some shopping.  Glad to see you got your new rig up and going, sounds like a nice one, should drive you mad for many years eh?   Keep sharing your findings, I find them very helpful!

Cheers Freya, Im going to try nVidia next month just to see if there is  the bid difference. Ill be sure to report my findings.

Anti aliasing won't be worked on in the next patch, as there are too many issues still prevalent but the game will be Nvidia-Certified.

I think it's a minority of users compared to those with Nvidia chips, not to mention Nvidia is also a larger company. Although, I wouldn't be sure as to why they wouldn't take interest, but I guess it is the same reason why Nvidia has not taken action until now.

Right, on most of the ATI forums I frequent, seldom do I see any discussion of CloD, not surprising, due to its history/issues.
