Don't forget that the person who made this mod is not a native English speaker and probably had to simplify his post accordingly, using the appellation 'MODS' to cover all the different versions that MODS folder now come under (#DBW/#SAS etc)

Don't read anything more into it than that.

And there is always a simple way to try out a mod if you really wish to have it, but are afraid it might effect your install.

Just make a copy of your game and try it out on the copy ... nothing lost if it doesn't work ...

i get the feeling that if we can figure out how to get all the extra optional features to work, the sim might take some kind of graphical 'giant leap' forward, to make it comparable with even next-gen games.

WOW, nice find... never saw that list before.  Looks like a lot of Nvidia parameters listed in the first post that are available for the config.ini.  May have to explore some of those!

Where to find .rc for 4.08m? I don't have the SFS extractor, but will get it if I *must*...

Wx, might be a good idea to ask about it in the Lounge area, best place for being 'noticed'
then again, the SFS extractor is easy enough to use, it just takes a little while to extract everything.
plus side is that you only really need to do it once, then you can work from all the extracted stuff at your leisure.
