Any news on a 4.10 version, looks a like a fine job, of a way powerfull version of the Spit.

What do you mean? This is a conversion of the 4.10 version. There is a link in the first post to it :)

This aircraft never fly in ops (in some fly tests only).
The double prop have been mounted on the Mr Jacquard Spit due to its Merlin engine coming from a Shakleton.
If you are follower of air meeting you can see that the "Jacquard" Spit is flying with a normal 5 blades prop, like in the real time.
But who cares? :)

To integrate a Spit PR Mk.19 to IL-2 I prefer the version without CRP.
The versiion of Aymi for example! :)

A bit weird that, no original version but a later add on for 4.09 still up. Maybe if some one gave the dude a nice polite PM?

Alban

Hmm, on reflection it looks like there was a bit of a spat about this plane, the link for the non double bladed version is also deleted.

Hi, hush my mouth there is a link up, this beast working and on my 4.10 along with the CRP 14 I picked up on another site. A re-skin does it up as an FR actually the most common version, I think just from memory, some CRP versions did see service.
Great work not many versions of the Spit that seen service not available, the VI, the VII, and the XIII. The early Vc's, the V floatplane, only ones I can think of, again from memory.

Cheers
