Hi RealDarko,

This normally happens when you have missing objects.
Have you copied the files/3do folder in the right place? Have you correctly updated your static.ini with the new object list?
If you're using a mod, you've got to check if it has an alternative static.ini. If it is the case, you've got to update the mod's static.ini too.

You can check if everything's ok by pressing alt+tab to see the log of the map loading.

I think I'm missing all the piramids, cause not a single object on Gizeh or Saqara. Where are those included? Seems that is my problem, cause I can see all the other cities well completed, Jerusalem with the Dome of the Rock, the goverment buildings on Cairo...

Hi RealDarko,
I've checked the installation pack and everything is there.
The pyramids are the last objects declared in the add2static.ini file. Check again that you haven't truncated the last part while copying the contents to your static.ini file.
You can also check if you have correctly copied the folder \Files\3do\Buildings\Mideast\EgyptRuins

Seems all is correct, but the pyramids refuse to appear on the map. Don't know where the problem is.

Are you running UP3.0?
It seems that the downloads were corrupted and some objects did not appear, even thow the game would not indicate any errors.

I cant see the Antennas from Cannons maps and other objects, and still have no errors... the objects are there only invisible...
I read somewhere that it was because corrupted downloads of UP.. and by downloading again it got corrected..

I  run DBW 1.3 (hence also UP3RC3)

I also have no objects in Gizeh ans Sakkara.

The objects are available in the Mission builder, I can place them and see them, pyramids, obelisks..... around object number 1905 and further.

Be careful about the objects you see. There's the Egypt pack by Delvpier (Egypt monuments section in the map builder) who has a pyramid, some monuments and an obelisk. Then, there's the Gyzeh and Saqqara pyramids I've used in these maps that are new objects and should be in the Mideast section of the map builder. Check your static.ini to see if the objects are there.

I remind you that the Mideast map has not yet been included in UP (according to Boomer it will be in the next version) so you need to install all the files in the pack according to the installation instructions in order to make the map work.

This is the last part of the Mideast section (the Egyptian buildings declaration) that should be added on the static.ini:

The objects you posted on the last post Nounette are on my install, but they are invisible. I can place them using FMB but of course they don't appear. Any idea?

Hi RealDarko,
If you've got the objects in the FMB that means that your static.ini is ok. If you don't see them when you add them to a map this means that the real objects are not in the correct folder (il2\files\3do\Buildings\MidEast\...). Have you copied the objets folder coming in the install pack to your correct Il2 folder ? As far as I know you cannot put the 3do objects on the \mods folder, they have to be in the files one...

MMMh, I have no "Files folder" as I'm using UP3 and that uses #UP# folder. Maybe here's the problem?
