Hi,

I've done an install of UP3 onto a vanilla 4.101m now I cant open the game - if I click the .exe I get an 'IL2FB.INI' on my Desktop followed by the selector - I select UP3 and press play but nothing happens - I notice I get two files on my desktop at this stage, which disappear,  'arkan.sas and kan.sas'

I've activated UP3 in JSGME along with UP widescreen/hakenkruz

Any help gratefully recieved

ok im not the best at this but go in conf.ini and check if your screen resolution is about the same as your regular settings

You've copied the il2fb.exe to your desktop (for whatever reason?).
Don't do that. The il2fb.exe belongs to your IL-2 installation folder, which for sure isn't your desktop.
Maybe you wanted to create a shortcut on your desktop?
If so, right click on the il2fb.exe in your IL-2 installation folder and select "create shortcut". This will create a shortcut in the same folder, which you can move to your desktop then (the shortcut, not the exe itself).
