I've been working on templates for the various B-25 models we have (both stock and mod) for a little while now and have released the first packages of finished skins. These are very generic skins, only displaying the typical US insignia appropriate for the time period and in a couple of cases, theater or operations. Also included in each pack are non-marked versions.

I'm hoping these will be useful to mission or campaign builders or those that want to replace the default skins with more generic ones. Should anyone want to include them in a mod, consider this written permission from me to do so. (I'd appreciate a PM to let me know if they do get used!) While they are generic, I have tried to pay as much attention to accuracy as possible. For these skins, that mainly translates as accurate panel lines, internals, and various little details here and there.

What's next? I'm working on some unit packs, including the early MTO, SW Pacific and CBI. These will also include generics with group and/or squadron markings. After that, maybe some generics for other B-25 operators such as the USMC, RAF and VVS.

This is excellent news! Good B-25 skins are hard to come by, and I was actually looking for some generic ones recently. Thanks very much Jarink :D

Do not know why, but I can not download the J-22 ones... error 404 message... anyone else has the same problem ?

The J22 link was broken but has been fixed.

@Blond - anything in particular you had in mind? The C and G packs include desert generics (the C has pink and green desert camo and plain pink). I will be uploading some generic packs with unit markings sometime in the near future.

I have some B-25C desert skins for the 310th, 321st, and 340th Bomb Groups that were made for the A&A Tunisia campaign, but I'll  need to wait for the general release of the other Tunisia skins.

Hi Jarink, just added these beauties to my collection, thanks a lot. Have you considered doing some Dutch skins as well? We had 18 Squadron in Australia / Indonesia, flying C, D and J's, 320 (RAF) Squadron in the UK, so there's plenty of choices. And the 'old' 1_Java skins could do with some update.

While I have given some thought to doing some Dutch skins, I don't want to promise anything right now. At the moment my plate is rather full and I don't have very much information for the Dutch birds.

Once I get some more finished skins released, my plan is to release all these templates to the public (minus a few weathering layers) as is my custom. Give it about a month or so for that to happen.

OK, OK, so it's been more than a month.  :P

Here's some more stuff to look at which WILL be released VERY soon.
Downloads will be available within two weeks. (That's a 'real' two weeks, not an "Oleg" two weeks)
