Hi all,

Just a quick question. I have czk's Shooting Stars upgrade working in 4.10 and 4.11. I have re-installed pack on this version of Jet Era, buttons 10.5 but I cannot get the F80-A to show in the QMB/FMB object viewer window. F80-C, RF80-A, F80-N show up fine. I have experienced this before with other a/c mods on other Jet Era versions, but haven't been able to find a solution to what causes this.

Any help appreciated

I see the same situation at F-80A , now.
I can fly the same czk-shootingstar pack on 4.11.1m+JetEra, all OK.
That shows F-80A or whole pack's Java codes have no bugs/errors.
And I think... this strange behavier is caused by new IL2Selector 3.1.1 and ModAct5.30 error (in example internal memory crash).

IL2Selector/Modact errors are difficult to our players.

western, no wild guesses please.

All of the errors you've reported clearly point to mismatching Java classes.
For instance this one:
Code: [Select]
java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: isTrainer
at com.maddox.il2.objects.air.F9F8T.<init>(F9F8T.java:33)
How much clearer should an error log tell it?
In line 33 of F9F8T.java class source file a Field "isTrainer" is tried to be accessed but the field doesn't exist.
That's the whole story.
It's either a simple error in that class, an incompatibility between latest Jetwar and Engine Mod or it's a conflicting additional mod which you've installed.

Don't blame it on Modact and/or the Selector please, both have literally nothing to do with all of this and that's plain to see.

Best regards - Mike

Hi Mike.

Please look at my posted screenshots.
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,15649.msg418622.html#msg418622

I installed only F9F2, it is needed by Cougars MOD to use its cockpit.
Nothing other MODs are installed in #SAS folder , JSGME, SAS_AUTO folder.
nothing conflict.

I looked at it and the error message is pretty precise and clearly tells that there's a field being accessed in F9F8T class that doesn't exist (in your installation).
Tell me what this has to do with Modact 5 or IL-2 Selector please.

Best regards - Mike
