What is the difference between the loadouts "4xK5M" and "4xK5M (Flare)"? Does the MiG-17 have working flares? If yes, how can I use them?

No, Flares on weapons are only lights, they help you track the weapons during the night.

I have Install Il-2- 4.10.1m => SAS ModAct 3.6 => buttons 9.7 => instal JetEra v1.2  loading 20% and game crash.
What am I doing wrong
                                      Help me someone.

Hi,
I'm newbie DBW user and I've installed it mainly to fly JetWar after I read in many posts here that JW is already in DBW.
I got SAS F'nBigSuperPack one stop from IL-2 4.07 (I had 4.101 but I read it was the same) to DBW1.71 and it seems working fine. Unfortunately I'm not skilled in mods using, so I wasn't able to find the way to fly JW yet. Actually, I wasn't able to find JW at all yet!!  :-[
So, would someone please tell me a quick step-by-step tutorial to start-JetWar-for-dummy? Have I to enable some mods from jsgme (but I didn't find JW there...)?

Another doubt: if I don't go wrong I don't need to install anything else. Or maybe I've misunderstood and have I however to add things like AI mod etc.? In this case where is the right place to put these new mods: into #DBW folder or beside it or maybe into jsgmemods folder among others mods? 
Please give me some help!!

Well, in the list of planes you now have the JetWar planes (along with other new planes that come with DBW), that is the Sabre's, MiG15's and 17's, with great loadouts : Sidewinders, K-13, rockets, bombs etc..
There is also the Tu-4 with KS-1 antiship missiles.

You dont need to install anything else, AI mod is already in DBW (though it is v2.3, whereas the last one is 2.5).You can upgrad it by installing it in your #DBW folder.

And put all mods into your #DBW folder unless the readme or maker says otherwise :)

Ok that's useful for me, thx.
But I need something more... basic.
I've tried to run the game as DBW and UP3, but I couldn't find any mission or career as jet pilot, only wwII's props planes.
I didn't try yet to run DBW 1916, but by the name I don't believe I could find jets there.
So now I need to know just how I have to run the sim to find for JetWar!!
Could someone help me in that?

There are no campaigns included in jetwar. You need to download or make them yourself.
Jet war is what I said, New planes, new features, new weapons.

You run the sim as normal DBW.

Ah ok, thx very much for specification. I believed they are included but I went wrong. However I'm not sure I'm able to make them by myself: I've seen into missionEd but couldn't find a map of Korea. Maybe do I need to download it, at least?

However do you know on the net some downloadable JW's campaign or mission compatible to DBW and JW 1.2? I've found for 1.1 only...
