thanks for that technical insight, seems they were forever tinkering with the D-9 series!!. can you reccommend any 1 stop reference books, I had an old squadron in action fw book but its long since fell apart. are the kagero series anygood?

About the bomb rack, the D9 where fitted with an ETC 504 not an ETC 501 ;)

I seem to have a small problem with this early D9 version.  When I try to load it in QMB, I get the following error  "Internal Error:Material: Can"t load 'Wheel Disc.mat'.  It does not seem to matter whether or not the additional files to correct the "bouncing" problem are added or not.  I am not running any of the fancy add-ons of the UP faction or HSFX, just the SAS installer. By the way the D11 and D13 are running very well, it is just the D9 early that seems to be in error.  Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Thank you for your quick response and I have downloaded your suggested file.  However, in the interm, I did a bit of digging and a bit of meddling with the files. As the D11 and D13 were working I compared the files with the D9 early and found there was no .jpg for the wheels.  I also took a chance and subbed in the 'wheel disc.mat' file...close, but I also had to copy in the 'wheel tread.mat' file.  Now the little beauty is flying like a dream...and it is a dream.  Thank you for help (I will retain the download and probably re-do the install later) and will enjoy the rest of the afternoon flying one or other of my three new 190's.  They are all wonderful additions and I am most pleased to have them.
