One of my WIP's is using the North Sea map (oh, I hope it gets finished!), and you get to fly the G.1, and it's a treat. Check here: you can find a single mission to D/L: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,11885.msg152020.html#msg152020

Well, no... It's 04:30 on the 10th of May 1940, a kind of hectic time for the guys in the Royal Netherland Airforce  ;)

My day is so short in this mission  I never have the chance to get frustrated...but as usual I love to download & fly your missions...

I tried to set it up so that at least the player and, with a bit of luck, one other G1 should be able to get off the ground before those Bf-110's come swooping down. But I take it you can't even get off the ground, before you are blasted?

That would be an epic fail on my part. That particular G.1 unit, based on that particular airfield, in effect was annihilated on May 10, but that's no excuse for making an impossible mission...  ::)

;)I may be able to get it off, but so far those 110 guys are giving me the toughest time...the G-1 isn't the hottest performer of all time...What I have done in the Mission Pro Combo is switched planes & managed to get off just before the unwanted guests arrive...in any case I haven't seen much of the new map but have been chased around this airfield in the semi darkness a good deal.... :D

Trying to be true to history doesn't always guarantee you a fun game, that's for sure...  ::) My own best experience is to down one Bf110 or perhaps two, and then perhaps shoot down a Stuka, or again maybe two, and then the bad guys get you, and you bail out, ready to fight again  :P

No, I hope to finish that campaign eventually, when Waggels map gets finished. And then you get to fly more in broad daylight, against unescorted Heinkels, and that a bit more fun!
