Question to Photoshop users
« on: February 24, 2011, 10:37:12 AM »

Hello,

I've installed the trial version of Photoshop CS5 on my comptuteur.
I've the 32 and 64 bits versions of the software.
The plug-in "Bright" works perfectly with the 32 bits version but not with the 64 bits.

Do you know why and if there is a 64bits compatible version of Bright ?

Thanks in advance !

No Bright only works on 32-bit and lower. No 64-bit has been made that I have been able to find.

Must be peculiar to the plug-in version; good to know.

Zargos, try the 'stand-alone' version of Bright mate, the one that runs in it's own folder. Just save your bmp to the Bright folder, click the bat file, and done. I've been running this version in both WinXPx64 and Win7x64, and it works fine.

Thank you for your help.
Well, I've got to Bright stand alone sofware, but I find more convinient to export the skin directly from Photoshop.
Actually, I've installed PS CS5 just to test if it brings real improvements in my skinning work.
If it doesn't, I will keep on working with PS CS3 which provides me everything I need.
