Sorry for the late reply SAS~Malone, I appreciate where your coming from, unfortunately most skins I have don't fit. That's a hell of a lot of skin requests, if you know who did them that is!
If all the skins were made from the original il-2 void you would think there would be no problem, unfortunately there is, maybe this is down to none standard window placement by the skinners for which even Master Ranwers couldn't find a solution.
I have my own template so I can easily alter my own skins, unfortunately not everyone is in that position and altering someone elses skins is frowned upon by the skinning community, it also looks odd trying to alter a bmp without the original layers because you are painting over the image and it is difficult to make things blend well.
For those who have the original templates it just means removing the windows from the mech layer or the layer which contains their window effect but how many of those templates will still be available for some of the more unusual schemes is anyones guess.
It is still an excellent mod though and you wonder why this wasn't part of the original in the sim like the Ju-52.
