Hi, I'm the author of this map and Sinai also, old member of AAA but retired of Il-2 modding... sorry I did'nt answer to your mail asking for permission.

Don't worry about permission... anyway, no one asked to put my mods ( maps or objects or Infantry mods ) in any pack on any site... and everybody should know that mods are open when released... it's the rule...

So please, don't consider this one as illegal at all !

I didn't see the map retextured in game but pictures looks very nice, so thanks to bring a new life to this old map.

You're welcome, glad I could bring this awesome map back to peoples' attention.  I'm very honored that both agracier and delvpier took the time to reply so kindly to this.  You 2, along with redko, are in my top 3 list of favorite mapmakers for the outstanding work they've done with the PTO & CBI maps.   I wonder if you know how valuable your work is to those of us who have personally seen those places from the air?  I've updated the topic title and THANK YOU SIRS!!

Finally, I have baronWastelan's texture edit working in my UP 2.01 install. Woohoo...Looks nice baron.

For any others that are new to Il 2-1946 like me, (3 months), you will need...

1.) delvpier's dlv_Philippines_v2.0 @ http://www.gamefront.com/files/17824805/dlv_Philippines_v2.0.exe
2.) agracier's Map Hankow - v3.0 @ https://www.mediafire.com/?invy1mvyawz

Install both to your Mods/Mapmods folder.
Add the all ini text for Map Hankow only. "ag_Hankow_2 ag_Hankow/load_2.ini".
The dlv Philippines should be there already.

I do not post this to be a smart ass, just to point the way for other rookies. 

You vets of IL 2 most likely are tired of answering the same questions over and over again, and I can understand that.
If in your place, I would.
