Breda SAFAT Gunmod

What is the diffirence between our gunmods and others out there by, for example Josse?

I actually use Josse's mods as a good reference, together with the stock parameters file, other guinmods of that model, technical guntables and also impressions of users (of the original guns), and I try to cut a usable line between them. So, I wont claim 100% historical, but then if you dont like these, dont use em!

I use stock smokes and sounds as far as I can to eliminate incompatibilities.

I have also reduced the yellow piss ambient flash of the guns.

This s a good start, I always knew that IL-2 1946 every machine gun to cannons need overhaul since they are way off compared to real life weapons.  I am downloading this and congratulate on making the first official of SAS's GUNMOD!

Increase slightly of rate of fire, bullet velocity and hitting power.

Gave it a try.

Certainly the italian MGs now seem to do better damage than before. Given that until now I've never tried an italian campaign because the planes had such crappy MGs, and now they seem to be actually able to kill enemies  ;D, I might give it a go now :).

i like this mod, as i never used to fly anything italian due to the weapons seeming like bbguns

now although they still suck, they seem to be a tad bettr then 7.62mm russian shkas, which were way bettr before

thx for great mod, i like this site sooooo much bettr then AAA cause ya tolerate fm/gun mods, i mean they jus scared people are gonna be asshats an use this online

again thx for a great mod makin me actually like italian planes

I actually enjoy flying the MC-205, The Italian spitfire, but I could never get anyone with those MG's. Thanks for this.

LOL try bringing down a Liberator with this son-of-a-bitch (By that I mean the Veltro). Definately going to give this mod a "Shot", see if I can bring down a fat car in less than 5 passes.
