By the way, did someone here manage to take-off with a F84G (the first version, without RATO) loaded with 100% fuel + the max droptanks, on a standard concrete runway from the original il2 maps ?
I never, never managed to do that challenge, haha ! This slow ass barely reaches 115kt at the end of the runway, goes on the grass and then...KABOOM :P !
It must be pretty spooky being a F84G pilot at the time...especially at take off !

Is there a way to remove the tip tanks, as in reality they were not permanently attached, and could be jettisoned like regular tanks I believe.

F-84G was very early Jet Fighter-Bomber, but its engine had an afterburner function.
en-wikipedia says it.

hey im having trouble finding mods folder i have ultrapack and stuff and ai flyables but i want to add more but its not just 1946 i have its ultimate edition with il2 fb plus ace expansion pacific fighters and 1946 can someone help plsssssss
