Ok I've found the answer - interference with bomb bay mod - one must open the (unvisible and virtual) bomb bay [by pressing the key affected to power 10%] before pressing the bomb release button. Strange bug but not really a problem for such a great mod!

BTW: as I was looking at the info on Wikipedia I was wondering if anyone was developing the Mk 7 nuke for this beauty?

YES!  I have been waiting for this for a long time and this is a GREAT gift to us!  I thank you and your team very much for this add-on aircraft.
All of you you rock!
Chaoic out...
I cannot say it better! Congratulations! Many thanks!
I d/l this bird only now, and was enchanted by it. Especially by cockpit, where work so many gauges, including the fuel source switching.
Tried take off and landing on Okinawa map: at landing used airbrakes and it goes like a charm.
Thanks again.

Flak the G3 looks very nice! Can't wait to try inflight refueling :)

I found it very difficult in Jane's USAF

This is getting even more interesting;)

Thank you!

Ok, I've tested it out. I'm getting about 540 mph at low level, no wind, and reasonably trimmed for level flight. Every source I've seen puts the sea level speed at about 600 mph for the E mark, and well over 600mph for the G.

Hi.

Quote
SPECIFICATIONS (F-84E):
Span: ......

PERFORMANCE:
Maximum speed: 620 mph
Cruising speed: 485 mph
Range: 1,485 miles
Service ceiling: 43,240 ft.

The top IAS (Indicated Air Speed) speed for a F84G is 540 kts (622 mph, 1,000 km/h). That it is not the maximum speed that can reach the airplane. That is the maximum safe speed to which can fly without problems. If you reach or surpasses this velocity the air compressibility, vibrations, drag, flutter and other factors begin to be declared seriously. If you continue the flight to that velocity can cause structural damage or break of the plane. In aviation that velocity is known as VNE or Never exceed speed. So, an airplane its not like a car, you can get more speed that your engine permit. Did you note the vibrations that suffers the F84 when reaches the 485 KTS, that is an indication that you be about to the VNE.

If your think that the F84´s FM is wrong, you can make a better one. I allow upgrades to my planes.

Best regards, Flak

Thanks so much for this mod Flakiten, I'm enjoying it a lot. I was wondering it was possible to get your F84G cockpit into the other F84G and F85F previously released?

Does anyone know why the JATO bottles do not appear on certain maps? Can this be fixed? Any suggestions appreciated.

I really don´t know. Maybe the runway elevation.

Hey flakiten, is it possible to fix where the JATO bottles on multiplayer remain on the plane during flight? Basically if you fly with a friend and after they've ejected their bottles it's still on their plane and remains there for the duration of the flight. I believe with the Ar-234 your friend's JATO rockets are ejected on your screen too.

Also one last question regarding the F-84G3, I know the mod isn't complete yet for the refuelling thing but would it be possible to have the refuelling covers on the wing of the F-84 to open before you attach? Perhaps like fireball's mod which lets you open bomb bay doors, you can set that to the bomb bay doors rather than at the moment it has bomb bay doors which can be operated but nothing actually happens...
