Another little update:

Reworked map_h in the Ardennes.
New snowy texs for fields, towns & villages.

With the help of Asheshouse, I can now announce that the map will be 30 kms extended in 3 directions.
New towns included:
NL: Den Haag, Utrecht, Arnheim
Ger: Duisburg, Essen, Dusseldorf, Koln, Trier
Fr: Thionville, Reims, Compiegne, Rouen
UK:Ipswich

Important nearby airfields will also be there !

Arnheim = Arnhem, Dusseldorf = Düsseldorf, Koln = Köln.  ;)

Will all the map be populated? IIRC Asheshouse "only" populated the south area of it.

Yes, great news GilB! Ashes original map is very nice, and I've used it myself for two Battle for France campaigns:

Planned maps to be released :

-West Front 40 (winter) for the phoney war.
-West Front 40 (summer) for the Blitzkrieg.
-West Front 44 (summer) for Market Garden.
-WestFront 44 (winter) for Bodenplatte*.
-WestFront (summer) generic.
-WestFront (winter) generic.

* : the 1st one I'm working on.

Amazing....about the most part of the western front on a single map!!!!

I'll look to huge air battle over your map....can I suggest a good and strong umbrella for the watching public! :)
