As you said Malone, the map loaded fine even without the bridges.
Thanks for the link for the missing objects ( bridges)
Best regards

@Ramone:

Are the airfields at the same position as they are on the stock map (means, is this map dgen useable)?

Thanks for this revised version of Stalingrad!  8)
Funny though, 'cause I replaced default city textures of Stalingrad Summer map by photo textures also and put the same houseblocks on top of it.

Question: I wanted to use your map replacing the one I have in QMB at the moment. I've done that several times before by copypasting the new load.ini into the MIS-file.
But in this case I get the message: Mission loading failed: String index out of range:2.
Any advice by an expert on this?

Boelcke - yes the airfields are in the same positions.

"Mission loading failed: String index out of range:2."
Uufflakke: I don't know why it happens but I think its to do with damaged objects - you can get around it by deleting what's in the [House] section at the bottom of the .mis file. This restores the objects.

Hi Uufflakke see an earlier answer from Gerax

A prophylactic advice when getting a String-Index-out-of-Range message while loading a mission ....  ;D

Go into the missions *.mis file(s) and delete all entries in the [house] section.  :)

This will work.

@Ramone &Henkypenky: thanx for your advice. Deleting the [House] section did the trick. Don't know why but now I can play quick missions with your repainted version of Stalingrad.   :)

Hello Ramone

Thanks for sharing your mapping efforts with us, it's greatly appreciated.

One thing to report:

While spawning works fine (although mid runway!)at Pitomnik base, there is some type of a glitch at Gumrak base where the A/C spawns on/off the ground.  If on the ground then the undercarriage immediately collapses.  If mid air then the alt is maybe 20m without engine.

Has anyone else noticed those anomilies or am I missing something perhaps?

Keep up the great work :)

S'

Hi Sikshoota - I don't know whats happening there! It all works fine for me.  I never changed any of the actual airdrome points but I did fiddle with some of the runways.. I'll take a look and report back.
