Halifax BMkIII ~ FMB Fixed v4
« on: September 26, 2009, 06:49:16 PM »

Halifax BMkIII by Ranwers & Charlie Chap
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now with FMB issues Solved!(95% of the time!)
Since the SAS was the first open site to officialy support
this new plane with a buttons file, it is only right that it has a home here.
We are very proud to have done this, since this is the very first 4 engined new plane to be modded into the game.
Quite an achievement!
S! To Ranwers & Charlie
This version at the SAS has the shadow patch (seperate download on other sites) already included. I have also fixed a minor LOD issue of the Bombardier Blister that was bothering me.
Fix4 version fixes the texture issue (neon green) when looking from the top turret (we hope!)
Fix3 version Charlie Chap worked out the FMB problem and fixed it (well, for most opf the time, the fix is a WIP also!) Ground Collision Problem also now fixed :)
All lines to add are included in the readme.
DOWNLOAD HALIFAX bMkIII Fixv4
My thanx for Ranwers for letting me post this and other mods of his here. and for Charlie for the continuing support!
 :)
Bomb bay doors though don't open on the Halifax even in UP1.8 but I assume that this will be fixed soon
Hello,
Maybe someone out there could help me, first thanks for this beautiful plane, J like using it! Still J found a problem, being in the top turret and looking toward the tail the top of the plane it is of a bright pale green , instead of correct brown/green colour, is there anything can be done to have this problem fixed? (Looking the plane from outside show perfect colouring)
Cheers to all of you
I love this plane. I love the looks, the squared fins, the whole package! I've enjoying shooting it to pieces in QMB as stress relief.
As a small bug report (I understand this is a work in progress, no worries), I can shoot them down many times, and they will crash into the ground and sit there, just below the surface of the land or water. They spin in place on the map, and their icons are visible, but you cannot "finish them off"
Seems to happen most times they crash semi-intact, but most planes would blow up on impact.
Thanks for the plane, I hope to see more eventual updates!
CirX, I'm certain I do. I can double check later tonight, but I've only started downloading and installing mods in IL21946 in the past month or two. The update on the original post says December 2009, and I started well after that.
No need to be sorry. It's a great plane. It just won't die!
(die! die! die! mwahahahaha!) :P
I guess the solution is to get a bigger gun, but I think I can do that. Where did I put the keys to my 262?
Thanks SAS Gerax. Have installed the Mossie Mod and it is great! Didn't solve the problem with the Halifax but that doesn't matter now I have the Mossie. I'll use that instead. Thanks for looking into this.
