Did you mean that you have used some of them in some mission?

As I have some issue with plates in my testing , can you please send me a (in each version you like from 409 to 412) PM with a mission with some of them placed and a static camera over them?

So I'll check if at least in game they show in my maps mod....

In this pic you can see through the semi-transparent plates used for runway, taxi, parking areas.

Below is a simple mission over one of the grass airfields.  The semi-transparent plates simply replace the "Ground" plates in your 3DO folder.

Below is a pic of my original runway ground plates (I believe made in DBW or before DBW).  Notice they are brown in color.  Later, somehow, my files were changed to greenish or pale green color which did not look good for Caucasus map.  That's why I got the semi-transparent plates now.  The brown plates would still look good with the new textures IMO but I don't know if anyone has those.

Here is a lovely view of Kurskaya airfield on the steppe.


Here is a view of the steppe (northeast part of map).  Notice there are two textures used.  The one on the right needed to be altered to a lighter shade to match the one on the left.  However, the original shade looks better for Cyberolas' Stalingrad.  Here it blends nicely.


Pyatigorsk area mountains




Pyatigorsk again.  If you look closely at the water there is an unusual view of parts of a ground texture mixed in the water.  Not sure if I've ever seen that before but it's because of the shallow water.  I just thought it was an interesting discovery.


Kyadyshensk (west side of map) northeast of Tuapse.

Problem : Bombs falling water will leave a crater and seaplanes cannot always land on water either.

Apparently this can be fixed by a very simple editing of the load.ini file.
this is a line of text that is near the beginning of the file:


[WORLDPOS]
CAMOUFLAGE = WINTER

please change that to

[WORLDPOS]
CAMOUFLAGE = winter

Apparently by editing the map to a winter map, it makes all water behave like ice, even if the water textures show unfrozen water. With CAMOUFLAGE = winter (NO CAPITAL LETTERS) you will have normal water and default winter skins.

Hi Uzin, most of those objects can be found in LAL Rhone's Hangar mod here: http://www.checksix-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=163149 and I think the rest are in the UP objects files. (up_objects01.sfs etc.)
