Title: longer flybys on BAT #Jet Age
Post by: Greyhound87 on April 02, 2021, 05:04:53 PM

Hello,

Just wondering how can I get the flybys sequence last longer on BAT Jet age? On WAW you can do a full circuit around the area without flyby resetting unless you press F3 again to start over. On the Jet Age the flyby only lasts 15 secs then resets the flyby again.

Thanks  :)

I've never concerned myself with this flyby nonsense, but I recall a couple of settings in conf.ini that seem to deal with this. I'm on my phone and so can't look it up, but it should be obvious enough if you peruse your conf.ini. One setting concerns the number of seconds preceding the closest approach, and the other is a distance offset, in the vertical I think.

But rusty memory syndrome could have me steering you not fully on the correct path... ;)

Its working. It's the [Hook View Fly Config] option in the conf.ini this section is how your view moves in external view

[Hook View Fly Config]
TimeFirstStep=2.0
Time until aircraft passes camera
DeltaZ=10.0
Angle of camera to aircraft

Thanks again  :)
