Installation instructions are in the model folder.

Models extracted from World of Warships and adapted for IL-2 by Asheshouse.

The Fuso Class were a pair of battleships completed during WWI and extensively modernised in the 1930's. Both participated in and were sunk at the Battle of Surigao Strait in October 1944.

The Mogami class were four cruisers built for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) during the 1930s. They were initially classified as light cruisers under the weight and armament restrictions of the London Naval Treaty. After Japan refused to comply any longer with that agreement, all four ships were rearmed with larger guns and were reclassified as heavy cruisers. All four fought in World War II and were sunk. Mogami was present at many naval battles including Sunda Strait, Indian Ocean Raid, Midway, Philippine Sea and Leyte Gulf. She survived until the Battle of the Surigao Strait, where, after sustaining extensive damage from surface ship fire and air attack was finally scuttled.

The Fubuki were a class of 24 destroyers built in the late 1920's. They saw action throughout the Pacific. Only two survived the war. One, the Hibiki, was taken as a prize by the Soviet Union and remained in service in their navy until 1964.

Other ships in progress include Takao Class CA.

Works beautifully in BAT, asheshouse - thanks. Just fought her against Leander and Ajax - she hit Ajax heavily but then the Senior Service got her and she went down all guns blazing...

Yes. If. like me, you have already installed the WIP ship, you only have to copy in the 'mogami' ship folder.

First of all, thanks to your great skill and enthusiasm, many ships from different countries have been implemented in IL-2 1946 Thank you for being Thank you so much.
I immediately tried to use "MOGAMI" and "FUBUKI" and found several differences in the behavior of the ships from the previous ones.

1 During anti-ship combat, the high-angle guns and machine guns do not fire; FUBUKI does not use torpedoes.
2 During anti-aircraft combat, MOGAMI does not fire its main gun.

If you know how to fix this, I would be very happy to let me know.

Our environment is v4.12.2m HSFX7.0.2.

I'm very excited to hear that the Fuso battleships and Takao cruisers are also WIP'd!

Torpedoes have not been set up to fire. They are just static models.
AA Guns will not waste ammo firing at ships. They only fire at fast moving targets (aircraft).
Large calibre guns will only fire at slow moving targets (ships or land targets).
All this is intentional.

I agree with asheshouse.

During anti-ship combat, AA guns shouldn't fire at the enemy ship. It's just a waste of ammo.

In fact, many of the stock ships (if not all), have AA guns firing at enemy ships, which seems like a shortcoming.  :(

When I'm making missions, I had to keep the ship engagement distance very far away for naval battles, to avoid these AA flak "fireworks".

Fuso will also double as my generic IJN BB.
As a "minimalist", I try to have as few ships as possible, yet at the same time cover every conceivable niche. And Ashe's new IJN pack pretty much covers all my need for IJN BB, CA, and DD.

I would also say its an ini problem...
I had Fuso (and its sister Yamashiro) in my install for some time now since it was released as Beta and have replaced the necessary ships.ini entries with the new ones and even replaced the old classfiles I had with the new ones (they are the same anyhow) and both BB sisters are running flawlessly....

On the rare occasions when 7zip doesn't work, I usually find that WinZip does  ;D

Thanks for all the help.  I thought it might be a problem with the download.  I just downloaded on to a laptop (not my regular IL2 desktop) and it unzipped fine.  I'll just transfer the unzipped file to the other computer.
It's strange, I had no problem unzipping the Nagato yesterday. 
I'm excited to have all these great IJN ships!
