A simple, small, relaxing map of the 30s - 40s for the Pacific. Solely for cheer up. It does not require additional mods, it should work in older versions IL-2.

Unfortunately, I do not have enough rights to install it in PTO

INSTALLATION:

1. Unpack the archive into the appropriate folders (BAT, VP_Modpack, SAS, UP, Mods, Files)
 Copy/paste the folder PACIFIC_A into the folder
   Il-2 Sturmovik 1946/MODS(#.......)/MAPMODS/MAPS/

Folder Pac should be installed along the path … _Tex\Pacific

2. Add lines from to_all.ini. txt  in your all.ini file (in the map folder)


3. Check for objects of version 4.14 or create objects from folder 3do along the path: ....... / STD / 3do / Buildings ...

Add the CONTENT od the file add_to_static.ini  into the file STD/com/maddox/il2/objects/static.ini
and save as static.ini.

SAS1946 heroes need to know in person:SAS_Epervier, Dimon Vertex, Dreamk, Birdman

great map and a big thanks to all involved....
just a word of caution - the first mission you have provided in the missions folder does not work in BAT3.8.2. for me, all others work fine though;
if I take out all Japanese wings, the mission loads fine, having them in crashes the mission at startup...
not a big deal and I am no expert in FMB to really find out whats wrong, just wanted to let you guys know...

Thank you.  I'm a long-time lurker and post rarely.  This is a wonderful map and a perfect opportunity to explore FMB if, like me, you never had time to do so before.
In particular I really appreciated your detailed "how to install this map" guidance.  Not all authors stress the all-important file-structure...and for this newbie, that helped a great deal.

Now, if I can figure out a way to make flying Hurricanes out of Pacific Map A "historically plausible"...I'm all set.
