Thanks. The Bavarians got them, and developed a liking for them. Then the Bulgarians got some. And just to add a bit of confusion, it's also called the Otto. Both pics look the same though.
cheers

As I finish up the Beta version, I started to prepare for the W version

Took her out for a spin last night......
What a beautiful aircraft :P
I thought the jittery landing gear was just her showing excitement at the prospect of flight :D
Noticed that stiv is beginning to work his magic 8) http://forum.aviaskins.com/showthread.php?t=3839&page=46 #908
Many thanks to you both ;D

It takes off alright, and gains height slowly, as you'd expect. It will land on a 'made up' airfield. In this case, Drama on the Italy, Africa, Greece map by Jir. It also managed to shoot down a bothersome DH2. I was surprised to seee it's a tail dragger. I thought with the four wheel UC; it'd not be. The cockpit looks fine. I'm sure the finished article will be fine. I've done the second mission for a Bulgarian pilot in Salonika.

She is a little slow on the take-off
(https://i.postimg.cc/NjPth0m0/2019-10-07-14-24-51.jpg)
Easy on the stick and she will lift off at 70-72 km/h. She is a slow climber.

I can do a single mission over Flanders, and release it when the time comes.

I'll look forward to it David :P
Took the AGO CII W for a trip round Suvla bay last night.....chased a Nieuport N4A for a while and landed a few shots 8)
Takes off and lands very nicely
Lovely sedate FM just right for a reconnaissance platform
Obviously she needs some more time on her crash damage/ hit boxes etc...but that's what beta's are for ;)
As always, many thanks for your work in providing us with this beautiful aircraft :-*
Cheers

I took her up earlier. Lands, and takes off fine. T/O speed seems to be about 43 mph. It's great seeing the more unusual planes being produced.
cheers

I'm sure it'll be a good one.

Having recovered from a few weeks of brain cramps, brain constipation, and a general lack of motivation, I will have a Alpha version
ready in a few days. The "W" BAT version will be finished a couple day after that. The "W" DBW 1916 is being a pain. So, no date promised.

Loving the obscure, but in loading a #DOF3 Le Grand Cirque 3.7.2 QMB using the AGO (AGO CII_W BETA 2 - BAT version) I get the following error message:
" ..problem loading FM called: flightmodels/mercedesd.emd - not present in ago.cii.fm"
Any suggestions?
Mechanic
-
Have you tried the Alpha version?
-
Did you add the FM to the Classes FM folder in DOF3?
-
David, Zflyer
Adding the FM from the Beta folder to the #DOF3 Classes FM did not do anything...
BUT...
Installing the Alpha version seems to have somehow informed the Beta version which now runs with out displaying the "problem loading FM" error message. Both Alpha and Beta now running.
Thanks to you both.

I'm glad you got it working.
