I said it would and could never be done, updating my big Luftwaffe campaign "Years of Triumph" from DBW into the 4.12 universe. But two things made me change my mind: 1.) BAT 3.61, of course, which is a BIG step forward performance-wise, and of course comes with all those old BAT goodies as well, 2.) Forum member Willyp got in touch and told me that he had already made a basic but fully BAT-compatible version of the entire campaign!
So now I am glad to tell you all that the work has started to make a new, updated, revised, expanded and 100% BAT compatible version of this campaign! It WILL take some time (even though Willyp has made that wonderful ground work already) because this also has to be done:
- Taxi-to-takeoff implemented in all mission
- The new airfield ground detail that this requires will be added
- Additional ground detail will also be added, to maps that are a little bare
- The storyline will be updated
- The aircraft density in most mission will be increased, in many instances doubled
- The same goes for the ground activity
- Many features only found in BAT will also be added - for instance the Flare object
- A couple of brand new missions are also added - just for the fun of it
- C&C Mod objects will be added to many mission, where it is appropriate
So you see this is not just a straight porting over of missions from DBW 4.10 to BAT, it is a remake, that will hopefully result in a bigger, better, bolder campaign, and this thanks to BAT 3.6. And I also see it as a possibility to showcase all the different aircraft and other wonderful additions to the game that comes with BAT. As with all of my recent campaigns, I will adhere to the dogma of only historical maps, only historical aircraft, only historical skins. (No stand-ins, no skin-hacks, no look-alike maps. Only the real deal!) But I will really try and take advantage of BAT's huge content and essentially showcase most of the aircraft types of both sides that were in operational use during these years.
The campaign as it comes now in its present 4.10 version consists of 103 mission. I plan to expand this into 180 132 missions. This is actually less fool-hardy than it sounds, as I will do this by adding my already existing Bf109 4.12 campaign "Operation Taifun". The campaign will thus have this structure:
- Spanish Civil War, March-May 1937 (Done!)
- Fall Weiss - Invasion of Poland, September 1939 (Done!)
- North Sea Battles, Autumn of 1939 (Done!)
- Sitzkrieg - December 1939-April 1940 (Done!)
- Fall Gelb - Invasion of Holland, May 1940 (Done!)
- Battle for France May-June 1940 (Done!)
- Battle of Britain July-October 1940 (Done!)
- Battle over Malta, February-April 1941 (Done! By Edc)
- The Invasion of Yugoslavia and Greece April 1941 Done!
- North African Battles May-June 1941 (Done! By Edc)
- Operation Barbarossa, June-September 1941 (Done! by Edc)
- Operation Taifun, September-December 1941 Done![/i] by Edc)
Kanalkampf, January-April 1942Fall Blau - Drive on Stalingrad, May 1942-January 1943
Of the above mentioned campaign segments all save one exist already. Those marked with a * have already been converted into 4.12, which should make the conversion work a bit quicker, the segment marked **, "Kanalkampf", is the only one that will have to be built from scratch.
But this will still take TIME. I make no excuses for that. Luckily for me I will get some help. Willyp will continue to assist me, while I understand that edc1 is already well underway in converting the North Africa Battles segment to BAT. Also Flying H has agreed to do some playtesting. And if there is anyone out there willing to chip in, you are more than welcome! (What is mainly wanted is people willing to do the dire work of A.) adding taxi-to-takeoff B.) adding all the ground detail that this requires.) Just drop me a PM! You will be fully credited!
This will take a couple of months, but with a bit of luck the new BAT version of "Years of Triumph" will be ready, say, in early autumn. In this thread I will try and update you on the progress of this work.
Thanks for looking and thanks for your encouragment! :)

this is where BAT comes into motion! :D
most likely it will have a TGA and a WAW section?

Actually it will be all WAW! I've finished updating the Spanish Civil War segment already, and managed to find enough aircraft from the era in the WAW set to finish it without any major problems, for instance I replaced the I-15 with the I-15bis. And most of the aircraft the Condor Legion can be found in WAW!
-
The Spanish Civil War segment is finished. Depicted in the 8 missions is the Nationalist offensive in Northern Spain, during the spring of 1937, against Bilbao and the Basque country. The German Condor Legion made an important contribution in securing this vital victory for Franco. You will meet a broad array of enemy aircraft: from more well-known types as the I-16, the I-15bis, the R-5 and the SB-2, to some lesser-known ones, like the Koolhoven FK51, the Bloch 210, the Potez 540, the Vickers Vildebeest and even the Boeing P-26, which was actually used in Spain. The map used is Northern Spain by Redeye Jir. Some screenies:

This is truly going to be a masterpiece.

Fall Weiss - Invasion of Poland segment is finished. Depicted in the 5 missions is the fighting over Northern Poland and the so called "Polish Corridor" during the first days of september 1939, when the Second World War starts. The German forces in the air are formidable, but the Polish airforce is no push-over. Their aircraft were often obsolete, but many of the their pilots were better trained and more experienced than their German counterparts: many of their pilots had just entered the rapidly (some say too rapidly) expanded Luftwaffe. In this campaign segment you will meet aircraft seen nowhere else (like the PZL11c, the P7, the PZL 23, PZL37B, and RXIIID) but you will also see many German aircraft that were only use in this ealy phase of the war, like the Ju87A, the Hs123 and the Ju86. You will fly the Bf109-D, a small improvement over the Bf109-C you flew over Spain. The map used is EastBalt by Uzin. Some screenies:

Some of the dogfights are big, and quite challenging, as the Polish fighters are very nimble and many their pilots veterans.
Thanks for looking :)

have this in other styles of il2 doing bat mostly now should be great in bat
-
It will be even better in BAT, believe me: more aircraft, bigger dogfights, many more aircraft types, better effects, more and better ground detail etc etc ;)
-
Poltava. Thank you for yourgreat work to convert l your wonderful campaigns to BAT. I think, it is a lot of work and it will consume a lot of time. Again BIG THANKS :) :)
-
Great job Poltava!! I can not wait to play this amazing campaign!! ]wav[
Ciao!

The conversion work continues! The North Sea Battles segment is finished. Depicted in 3 missions is the fighting over and around the North Sea coast of Germany during the autumn of 1939, after the defeat of Poland. At this stage of the war only the Royal Navy and the RAF was fully engaged in combat against Germany, Bomber Command sending in their bombers in daring (but costly) daytime raids on military targets, mainly connected with the Kriegsmarine. In this campaign segment you will conseqently meet early war RAF aircraft (Wellingtons, Bostons, Blenheims and Swordfish). You are based on a coastal airstrip and patrolling German airspace against these enemy incursions. You will fly the Bf109-E1, a rather substantial improvement over the Bf109-D you flew over Poland. The weather is often lousy. Some of the missions uses C&C randomizers. The map used is Nordsee by Waggle. Some screenies:

Eagerly waiting!
Please do: I am counting on you as a playtester. Will get in touch soon!
Another thing: I'm still amazed over the performance. I keep adding aircraft to missions that already has quite a few, and with a target-rich environment (and big clouds) the FPS still stay at my max, 60. This is great. Only time I see a reductions in FPS is on takeoff and landing when there are a lot of ground objects in view, and then it drops to the high 30-ies. And that is no problem, as long as you just see 60 60 60 60 during the dogfights! :) BAT 3.6 really rules!

The real test will of course be the Battle of Britain campaign segment, with the sky full of aircraft, not least bombers spraying tracers in all directions. But I feel pretty confident that this will work! ;)
-
I'm up for some play testing. I remember the 4.10 version from when I was in Korea circa 2011.
cheers
David
-
I´d like to beta-test the campaign too ;)

Guys, you are ON! Excellent. I will PM you.

The Sitzkrieg segment is finished. Depicted in 4 missions is the fighting over the Franco-German border in the winter of 1939-40, during the so called "Phoney War", or, a it was called in Germany: the "Sitzkrieg". There were many clashes in the air during this period, as both sides tried to gauge the other ones intentions by frequent recce flights, and the other side tried to prevent all incursions by staging patrols and aggressive fighter sweeps. You are based in a regular German airbase outside Trier, just behind the Siegfried Line. Your main opponent is the French airforce, and you will conseqently meet of their aircraft, which range from mediocre to superb (MS.406, Curtiss Hawk, Potez 630, MB.152). Most missions are small-scale, but one of them shows a real BIG clash - as in real life during this period. Do not underestimate the French! Many of their pilots and their machines are first rate. You will fly the Bf109-E3, yet another improved version, now with among other things a much heavier armament. Some of the missions uses C&C ground controls. The map used is the epic West Front (winter) by GilB57. Some screenies:

Thanks for looking and for your continued support! :)

Cool.

Update: edc1 has just delivered campaign segment number 10: North African Battles May-June 1941! (I will make a separate post about this with screenies soon.) And he has started working on the Malta segment. Marvellous. This is gaining speed :)
A small hitch: some segments are taking more time than required, because I am tempted to replay some missions again and again! ;)
-
The North African Battles segment is finished! It consists of 9 missions showing the fighting over Libya during May to June 1941. During this period the British launched "Operation Battleaxe", which had the goal of clearing Eastern Cyrenaica of German and Italian forces, and lifting of the siege of Tobruk. It was the first time during the war that a significant German force fought on the defensive. The operation did not succeed though. The British lost over half of their tanks on the first day and only achieved victory at one of their three thrusts. Eventually the British narrowly avoided outright disaster by successfully withdrawing just prior to a German encircling movement which would have cut them off from retreat. In the air the fighting was hard, with the Axis coming out as victors there as well. (The Allies lost three times the number of aircraft as the Axis.) Many of the missions are large-scale, with big patrols or fighter-sweeps over the chaotic battlefield. You will fly the Bf109-E7 - essentially an E4, but with a drop-tank capability. The map used is the Libya NE by JV69.
The conversion work for this campaign segment has been done by Edc, who has done an excellent job in all the extra ground detail that is needed when there is taxi-to-takeoff to be done. Superb job, Stan! Some screenies:

Modder Loku has pointed out to me that the invasion of Greece has been left out of the campaign, and that is a fair comment. Therefore I will add some mission over Greece, directly linked to segment 9, The invasion of Yugoslavia. (And it will be renamed The Invasion of Yugoslava and Greece - these operations were very much linked in real life.) In these new missions you will of course meet the aircraft of the RHAF, plus some from that expeditionary force the British sent to Greece, mainly Gladiators and Hurricanes.
-
Oh man, looks awesome.
I am aboard the hype train now
-
The Fall Gelb segment is finished! Depicted in 4 missions is the fighting over Holland, beginning on May 10, 1940, the attack, without a declaration of war, using paratroop landings deep into enemy territory and fast moving panzer spearheads, was textbook "Blitzkrieg". It only took 4 days and a massive terror bombing on Rotterdam to break the Dutch will to fight and force their surrender. You are in the first waves here, escorting paratroop laden Ju-52's, and strafing Dutch aircraft on the ground. The Dutch airforce was not bad, but many of their machines were obsolete and they were simply overwhelmed by the might of the Luftwaffe - this despite some attempts by the RAF to help them out. You will meet among other enemy aircraft Fokker D.XXI's, Fokker G1's and Fokker C.X's, in a pretty uneven contest - just as in real life. You will fly the Bf109-E3. The map used is the epic West Front (summer) by GilB57. Some screenies:

Battle for France segment is finished! Depicted in 9 missions is the climatic German offensive in the west in May 1940. In the previous segment you had to take on the small Dutch airforce, but now you must face both the RAF and the big French L'Armee de l'air. As mentioned before: don't underestimate the French, many of their machines and their pilots are first rate! And here they will appear in big numbers. But luckily for you, the Luftwaffe still holds the numerical superiority. (In real life this was exacerbated by the fact that the Germans often attacked with whole Gruppen while both British and French for most of the time operated in just squadron strength. There is a variety of missions to be performed: Free Hunts, Fighter Sweeps, Escorts, Ground Attacks etc. There is often a lot of aircraft in the air, resulting in big, swirling dog-sights. You will fly the Bf109-E3 in this segment as well. The maps used are BOF by Asheshouse and Canons classic Channel 1940. Some screenies:

Looks awesome Peter, I will have to take a look once you finish it although it will now most likely take me years to slowly get through it all. 8)
Thankfully now there are nearly all of the necessary types represented during the conflict available in stock or modded form, if you wait a while longer you never know what might appear to replace the few frankens still left to be replaced. ;)
Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
-
Pete!
One of the intentions I have with this campaign is to showcase the HUGE content of BAT, using a maximum number of types - within logical and historical reason. (For instance: in one of the missions over Yugoslavia in April 1941 you will probably run into the Rogozarski LVT-1, the “Hurrischmitt”, but just one, as only one was ever used operationally.)
So if there are more aircraft types coming up - is that even possible? I mean, the question with BAT is not what aircraft you can find there, but what aircraft you CAN'T find there! - I am more than willing to hold my horses and give these new ones a chance of appearing in the campaign as well! No problems! :)
All the best
/P
-
Hello Peter, good to know even the rare one off types are getting a outing, more the merrier because some things never get a showing in a campaign. ;)
I have no inside information as to what will come, however, things do pop up with unnerving regularity so it seems, we have many new toys each week to play with, truly spoiled for choice. :o
I have seen mention of two versions of Potez twin in various forums so for the French scenario maybe they will become available as you update, maybe not, however, I know from past experience of updating my Indochina stuff that just as you release an update it feels like you need to start all over again. ::(
I gave up on trying to keep my campaigns current, thankfully you have not.
Take care.
Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Hi Peter,
Check your PM for another one
Cheers edc1

Stan, got it - Excellent! And really fast work! See my mail! :)

Invasion of Yugoslavia and Greece segment is finished! Depicted in 6 missions is the German invasions of Yugoslavia and Greece, in april 1941, yet another "Blitzkrieg", with both nations being crushed in a matter of weeks. Your opponents will field a curious mix of aircraft against you: PZL 24's, Gladiators, Hurricanes and Bf 109's (the Yugoslav airforce bought both types before the war) plus aircraft of their own making, primarily the IK-3. (You will probably also run into a truly unique aircraft, the Rogozarski LVT-1 – The “Hurrischmitt”, a unique combination of a Hurricane fuselage with a German DB601A that the Yugoslavs created.) The Greeks got hurried help from the British, so you will once again run into your old arch-enemy: the RAF, but the fights are - as per history - not as large as the previous segment. You operate from an airbase at Brindisi on the Italian coast. You will fly your trusted Bf109-E4 in this segment as well. The map used is the classic ItalyAfricaGreece, Volperossas version. Some screenies:

Cool screen shots. Don't forget to add some road traffic. Empty terrain doesn't look convincing.

The Battle for Malta segment is finished! It consists of a total of 10 missions: 7 taking place before the attack on Yugoslavia and Greece, 3 taking place after that operation. They all show the aerial battles over the island from February to May 1941. During this period the fighting over Malta was intense, as both the Luftwaffe and the Italian Regia ASeronautica operating from Sicily did their utmost to neutralise what in effect was an unsinkable British aircraft carrier in the middle of the Mediterranean, which took a very heavy toll on all Axis shipping going to North Africa. During this period the two powers came very close to breaking the British in the air, eventually forcing them to withdraw all their anti-shipping aircraft squadrons from this strategic island. But the effort was weakened by decisions made higher up, forcing units to leave for other theatres of war. The missions are mainly fighter sweeps over this fiercely defended island, hunting for RAF aircraft, plus of course escort missions, as both German and Italian squadrons pound what was eventually to be the most bombed place in the whole war.
The map used is that of Malta by MRZ. As of now this map is not in BAT, not officially anyway, but will be included in the next update of BAT. (The map is actually there, hidden in one of the SFS files, and you can get it to appear by simply adding this line to the WAW Mapmods all.ini: "Malta mrz_Malta/mrz_load.ini"
The conversion work for this campaign segment has been done by Edc, who once again has done an superb job in adding all that extra ground detail that is a must once taxi-to-takeoff is used. (Plus of course that the whole taxi-to-takeoff requires a lot of extra work. Excellent job, Stan! As with almost all missions in this campaign I have added more aircraft, as BAT now can take it and still show excellent FPS's. Some screenies:

This is moving along nicely. Thanks for looking! :)
-
Really looking forward to this! I've always enjoyed the stock Il-2 careers, in good part because they last a while, and that's what seems to be shaping up here. 8)
-
Thanks! And yes, your testing days are approaching! Because this is really moving along nicely, not least thanks to the help given me by Willyp and Edc. Right now Edc is working on the Barbarossa segment - which is a big and important part - and I have converted almost half of all the Battle of Britain missions. Then follows Operation Taifun and Stalingrad plus the small segment that will function as a bridge between the two.
The whole campaign will be released in time for the next BAT update. You see I hope to use many of the new aircraft that will come with 3.7 :)
-
Thank you Poltava for your work on updating this campaign along with the team of testers of course. It should be a fantastic addition to the next BAT update and I look forward to trying to survive it.
-
Oh boy! I am copying the BAT to my PC hard drive again!!!! :)
-
I would like to say that thanks to BAT this campaign will be better than EVER! It is not just a simple lifting over of missions (which could be quite enough) but in almost all missions the number of involved aircraft is increased, and with NO decrease in performance. And of course there is all this extra ground detail etc. The variety of aircraft types is also greatly increased, thanks to the quite amazing range of content that can now be seen in BAT - and there will be even more in the next update! :)
-
Just a small update. I am myself just about to finish converting the whole "Battle of Britain" segment (which is and should be a whopper, with some 20+ missions). And Edc has just delivered the final missions for the entire "Barbarossa" segment - thanks Stan! This means that the original "Years of Triumph" is pretty much finished, and it's soon time to bring in the playtesters.
What remains to convert is the late 1941 ("Taifun") and 1942 segments ("Drive on Stalingrad"). Which should be not too difficult, as they are already in the 4.12 format. And I have to build the "Kanalkampf" segment, which will be great fun!
Shiny screenies will follow soon! :)
-
It is a Great job, with a lot of quality.
congratulations Poltava :)
-
The Battle of Britain segment is finished! This, one of the most crucial air campaigns of WW2, consists of a total of a hefty 26 missions. They show the aerial fighting from early July and the fighting over the Channel, over the "Adler Tag" and the first attacks on British sector airfields, all the way to the final phase in October, when the German effort had deteriorated to night bombings of London and hit-and-run pinpricks during daytime. This segment is the most intense of the whole campaign, with massive dogfights and a LOT of aircraft in the air (possible now thanks to the increase in performace of BAT). Most missions are fighter sweeps or bomber escorts, but you will also be sent to protect air-rescue operations and intercept raiding British bombers (Bomber Command was very active during the Battle of Britain, and suffered substantial losses). The map used is CannonUK's classic English Channel.
(And as Edc has finished all the missions in the Barbarossa segment, this means that the entire old version of "Years of Triumph" has been converted! Now remains just the part of 1942 to January 1943.)

Can't wait for this.
-
Just a small update: Edc has just been supremely quick and delivered the first NEW uppdated campaign segment for YOT for BAT, the one that will be the grand finale of the whole thing: "Fall Blau - Drive on Stalingrad, May 1942-January 1943".
This is moving along nicely, mainly thanks to Edc! ;D ;D ;D
-
Just a quick note to say thank you for the hard work all.
I really appreciate all the trouble for some new content of our favorite game. Can't wait to play it
-
Thanks for the appreciation. But I must mention Edc and WillyP here, who has both made a important efforts in converting this huge campaign to BAT!
There is still a lot to do, but I hope to have YOT ready when the next update of BAT comes out! :)
-
I'm just someone else wanting to say how much I'm looking forward to playing through this.
It's looking great.

The Operation Taifun segment is finished! This part of the campaign portrays what was the climax of the German invasion of Russian in 1941, namely the push for Moscow, starting in early October and ending with the near rout of the German attackers in December. You will protect and help the ground forces as they push closer and closer to the Soviet capital, performing a variety of fighter sweeps, escorts and patrols. You will also experience the fatal over-stretching of the Luftwaffe, with autumn changing into a very cold winter, and your unit slowly being whittled away until you only have one flying 109 left. The map used is (of course) the tremendous "Battle for Moscow" by Okevnas.
This segment has been converted by Edc - again! Thanks for a superb job!

This means that all the basic converting to BAT has now been done. Slowly but surely we are getting there... And mainly thanks to Edc and Willyp!
Thanks for looking! :)

This is an epic update for the game! THX to all involved, and especially to you Poltava who initiated the campaign at first long time ago!

Good news and bad news. (Or good news and good news!)
1.) The beta version is finished and I hope to send it to the playtesters later today!
2.) I have (after consulting edc1/stan) decided to limit the campaign to 1937-1941, i.e. the campaign ends with the failed German offensive against Moscow, Operation Taifun. This means that 1942 and the Stalingrad campaign will be left out of it. The reason is that 132 missions is quite enough for a single campaign, AND that I instead hope to perhaps use the Stalingrad campaign (which is big, 45 missions) as a cornerstone to a sequel, "Years of Triumph", portraying the air war 1942-43.
So: the beta, 132 missions long, will today reach the playtesters.
If there is someone who wants to lend a hand here, and playtest "Years of Struggle" for BAT, just PM me! (Even a cursory play test is a help here, believe me!)
All the best :)

I'd be willing to test them out.
Jon, you have mail! ;)
-
Will take me a few days to get around the task as I´m moving house at the moment. Sorry for that. I´ll pick it up as soon as possible, though! Cheers and thanks for your effort.
-
OK, I'm up for a lark. I'll play-test it if you want.
cheers
David

I've done 4 missions so far everything seems alright so far, besides how horrible the 109B2 is ;D
-
For anyone that is not hyped for this,
Get hyped and dl it. This seems to me like a must play campaign. It is absolutely stunning!
All of you whom worked on it, you guys did a great job!
Thnx for the effort

Yes, it’s a tough start in Spain: first you fly the He 51C, then you get the fly the 109B (rushed to Spain with all it’s defects because the He51C was not up to the job - that is a historical fact - but with the same armament: two lousy 7.65mm MG’s... And when you get that extra MG17 it jams all the time ... 8)

I remember the DBW version of "Years of Triumph" as one of the best IL-2 campaign I have flown! :)
It was an early version with "only" 76 missions, but the design of the campaign was so good with varied theatres and missions that I longed for some more missions when it was finished.
132 missions and a sequel sounds perfect! ;)
Many thanks to all involved for all the work you have done with this new version! :)

Didn't see anything for awhile. I hope this is still coming along. Can't wait!
-
Should be epic, sitting on the edge of the seat for this one.
-
It's on guys, it's just still being playtestested. This is a BIG campaign, so that will take a while... ;)

-
It will be wonderfull !!! this campaigns look like intense and epic !!!
-
Yes, the playtesting rolls on, and must be finished first. (And I myself have a lot of IRL distractions right now.) But it will come, sooner or later! :)
-
Hi Poltava, it's been a while now. Any news? I'm really looking forward to this one.
-
any news :") ?? so happy to play the cheesy year of the Luftwaffe
-
I am super-waiting for this... updates?
-
Would be nice to hear from you ;-)

Hello guys!
I'm sorry about this long silence. My aim was to have the campaign posted at Christmas, as a gift to the community, but sorry, no. Some really heavy duty RL stuff has put a stop to all my work for BAT and IL-2. It's been months since the last time I fired up BAT ::(
But it will only be temporary. Hopefully in a month or two I will be back on track! So be patient. "Years of Triumph" WILL BE FINISHED, come hell or high water!
Thanks for your understanding!
-
No Sweat Poltava....all comes to he who waits.......even if it seems an eternity. A most profound thanks for the work you have done and are doing for the Il-2 community

Poltava,
Hope things are well. Take care of RL first. I understand all about that.
-
Like a kid at Christmas, anticipation is half the delight. I hope all goes well with you and everyone concerned.
-
Take of You Poltava and have a good year, Community too ! ;)
-
Hi Poltava, please sort out - if possible - your RL problems and please than return to us in one piece. Best wishes.
-
Yo man. Just checking on you (not the IL-2 work). You cool?
-
I saw there was life to the thread and got all excited..... Bugga, back to waiting :)
-
false happy XD
-
I am waiting for this exciting campaign too. Thank you Poltava.
-
Hold on gentlemen! I have been busy IRL and with a lot of smaller campaigns. But now I hope to focus entirely on YOT. I hope to have it out by the end of the month - God willing! 👍
-
Great!
I love your campaigns and also the German side. ;D ;D ;D
-
Needlessly to say, eagerly awaiting! You know, when you keep on pressing F5 in the hopes that refreshing the page will have an update...
-
The work is well under way! The playtesters have done a fine job!
What will take some extra time, is that I have to rush through the camapign one last time, after finishing correctiing stuff the playtesters have spotted - just to make sure I haven't added any new errors.
But now I am on the case. I will work on YOT and only on YOT ubtil it is finsihed!
Thanks for the support! :D
-
Back to Maddox's son primarily for YOT!

It's a long way… to years of triumph
It's a long way to go…

-
I would say, not two weeks - but one! ;)
I'm doing a final run-through now, and it's proceeding nicely!
-
I noticed that Kanalkampf and Fall Blau have been cancelled, what's up with that?
-
The campaign is big enough as it is. But I reserve for the future the possibility of doing a "Years of Struggle" campaign, covering the years 1942-43, and using "Fall Blau" therein. But I promise nothing! These monster campaigns are very time consuming to build and test ]confused2[
-
:) Thank you Poltava!
-
If there ever was a "Years of Struggle", will there be another sequel covering the rest of the war?
-
Götterdämmerung?
-
”Götterdämmerung” is a good name! If it ever comes to that! ;)
-
Now the final run-through has reached the last segment: Operation Taifun and the drive om Moscow! This is moving along nicely 8)
-
This is not a WIP any more. You can now download YOT for BAT. See here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,63597.0.html
Thanks for all support! :)
