Hi Guys,
I have a Warthog Joystick that requires a repair, I was hoping someone here may be able to help - or has had the same problem in the past and fixed it.
My Joystick needs a new "O ring" and rather than try and explain in words, I have attached a couple of photos to describe the fault. I am led to believe that this is quite a common problem with this stick, and that once the rubber O ring has worked loose, it's replacement is necessary. (for the moment I have re-fitted the original O Ring, but it works loose again after a few dozen hours of use) So has anyone here with a Thrustmaster Warthog Joystick encountered this problem? and what did you do to fix it?
Thanks in advance....
Kind Regards,
MDS1

This guy offers replacement rings as community service :
http://www.hempstick.org/jforum/posts/list/7.page
Otherwise these fit but limit the sticks movement slightly, recalibration required :

That's really helpful ! Thanks Mike, :D
I also came across this guy whilst searching for possible solutions: https://warthog-extensions-by-sahaj.com/shop/silicon-o-rings/
But before I get in contact or part with any money.... anyone had dealings with sahaj ?
Thanks again :)

He's not hiding in anonymity, he's giving you his (german) cellular number, in germany he won't survive for too long if he'd just be a dud, and after all, this is him:
https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/2042-selling-thrustmaster-warthog-extensions/
I'd say it's safe to buy there and customers seem to be happy with other "extensions" he's offering on his site: https://www.reddit.com/r/hoggit/comments/4iijvh/warthog_extensions_by_sahaj_worth_it/
Probably a good choice.

Perfect. Thank you Mike for the information and vote of confidence.
I'm Ordering a replacement O Ring today. I will post results when I've fitted the replacement, just in case anyone else here suffers the same problem in the future.
Kind Regards,

Just an update fellas,
My replacement silicon 'O Ring' arrived after a few days from Poland, tracked First Class Post. I have fitted the replacement, and although early days, it works like a charm, the Joystick is back working properly like new. :D
It cost just 12 Euros (postage and packing included in the price). I have no hesitation in recommending Sahaj if you ever need to make this repair to your Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog.
I hope this may be of use to someone else who may have this problem in the future, and is unsure how to get it fixed.
Kind Regards,

That's wonderful, congratulations.
IL-2 without a stick does not work well.
