Hello guys, this thread will be used to post updates featured in the AviaSkins vehicle projects WIP. ;)

This is a update to finish the un-painted version of the Topolino in the second AviaSkins pack.

There are moving, stationary and static versions of each type.

The BRDM_2 is a slightly different version to that already in the game so has been named differently to avoid confusion.

Versions of the tram are available as a car and a train.

I will need to add a further slot for the trams, there are three types in total, unfortunately Stalker advises me I mixed them up. :-[

This will mean a change to the java and folders and will look something like this once done:

Tram: Red for the 30s and 40s

TramS: Green one for Europe.

TramS_R: Over the 60-period.

Current G removed, hopefully that will sort everything out as originally planned. ;)

Max bundled them away because all those fine legs and cleveges were distracting drivers and causing chaos. :D

Hello guys, there is a link in the first post that Epervier sent that adds passengers to your existing pack, simply swap his folders for the ones you already have. ;)


The  extra GAZ above now has a java slot and has been added into the pack, thanks again to Stalker for the excellent art work, however, I need to finish the
M-1/T-18 tank before I make a new upload so the link from Epervier gives you the chance to add that to your pack while I work on the next upload that will
have all the alterations shown in it.

Hello Seb, I cannot see anything in your log that that helps me know why you have the 70% crash, sorry. :(


Usually 70% CTD are caused by the wrong entries being added to your files but your log does not indicate to me just what entry might be causing the issue, please go though the install process again making sure you have removed the previous folders and entries for the initial release. ;)

As from today I am going to take time away from modding, not sure when or if I will come back to it, so for the moment this project for me
is now on hold, maybe stopped for good I do not yet know.

I am finding it increasingly difficult to spend time on projects or summon enough inspiration to see them through so now I think is the time to
take time out.

These are wonderful models and I am sure they will be used a million times
in everyone´s game. I really like them all.

You need a vacation. Relax and go to the beach., It´s summer time, enjoy life a little.

As for me, I am working until the end of summer  :(  which means, I still have a few hours a
day to continue working and painting some goodies for everyone. So nothing will be stopped.

All works but Sturm-V (Mi-24)can't lock on the T 80,i can only hit GAZ69,Humwwee without gun and amphibious versions.

With AGM 65 B (automatic from F-4E) no lock on at all .

I will still be around guys just not taking on new projects for now although I hope to keep going with the Lysander but in my
current state still no release on that unless I post it as it is in the school for you all to have a laugh at.   :D

There was a need to finish what was on the bench and then take time out, hope these get finished and they are well used. ;)

I try and fly at least once during the week to keep my hand in, short missions though and in BoS/BoM I am sorry to say, finishing
a campaingn will most likely take as long as my Lysander. :-[

Well, since you asked for it, I will post here some WIP skins of what I am doing with
these models.
At the moment I am doing the M1 Abrams tank (1980–2017) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1_Abrams
It is very much a work in progress right now, as I am still trying to discover where all the little parts fit
into this puzzle for a skin. Then I paint all the lines and details. Its a very low-poly 3d-model but I will try
my best to include in it many details to make it look nice.
Expect to see a Summer + winter + desert + camo version,
moving tanks version , artillery version and static version, and also a Dead/destroyed version.

At the moment I think at least 4 skin-artists are making skins for this famous tank. Which is great.
There are different variants and so the skins will also look a little different, which is all good for
the players choice to use  ;)

At the moment not many people are painting skins for vehicles, so this package posted has
a great selection and variety for all vehicle fans.
Choose a few of them and help our game to have some new vehicles!

Here is a quick update from me.

I am still connecting the panel lines better and putting
the puzzle pieces together. After the lines are placed proprly, then come the texturing and painting part for
bringing out the details.

 will be done slowly. When will it be finished?  As soon as I have more time in life to
do them. There are alot of projects still to do.

Looks superb, we now have many vehicles for the modern battlefield but this is much needed to add balance to all the Soviet tanks we have and give the opposition a chance in a shoot out. 8)

I can add extra slots for different colour schemes and operators, maybe even add soldiers to the turret and personal crew items to the rear basket as well using
the hier. ;)

Yes, I agree as there is a considerable amount of work still to be done and too much for one on his/her own.

You are not alone in suffering with a eye condition, Max also, I hope you both recover soon.


For ChAES, I think we need to make one large texture 2048X2048 and one lightweight 1024x1024 (for weak computers and fans of standards)

The power station buildings are large and a larger more detailed texture with more detail would probably be beneficial, maybe a series of individual textures for each object mapped to individual or group of objects might work also.

Please replace my damage texture I used to test the hit boxes first whatever else you do. :D

For those who already have the texture you will need to alter a value in the WWI1o MAT file, simply open it with notepad and
change tfTestA 0 to tfTestA 1, you should then have the Alpha channel active and see the rear carrier as in the image above. ;)

I have not finished my version yet. I have taken a break from painting skins for awhile because of
my eyes problems. I am loosing my eye-sight  :( So I must work more slowly and not be on computer too
many hours like I used to do.

Here is a common matter you've released vehicle and tank packs not only in this topic.
The archives you published look having the same 3d model data of tanks or machine-gun vehicles in 3do/artillery/ folders from 3do/tanks/ or 3do/cars/ folders.
But those 3do/artillery/ folders are never used by any of technics.ini's MeshSummer / MeshSummerDamaged lines.

Even tanks and machine-gun vehicles (self propelled guns) have Artillery class stationary.ini entries for "Stationary Armor" , those 3d models are loaded from same technics.ini section of tanks / vehicles' MeshSummer / MeshSummerDamaged lines.
So, 3do/artillery/ folders are not needed, pure loss of disk space.

Install those models packs and write the needed lines to make them work.

...after you do that, you can install my package into those folders from
the above download  and let it overwrite the old skins and add teh new folders for new models.

After that you will also need to add some new lines for the EXTRA ABRAMS tanks with more skin colors

You will notice that the skins inside the folder named "ABRAMS" will be for the desert version.
It is for the moving+shooting version and also for the static version.

I left this because most of you game fans have already started to make "desert wars" and have been
using this desert tank version for your missions... and they remain as a desert camouflage tank and
will not mess up your already made missions.

The other "static" tanks have diferent camouflage and colors. These will be for populating
your maps and missions for EXTRA American tanks to shoot and blow up or simply for making map scenes.
If you wish to make them moving, just change the skins you see inside the "tanks" folder which is
the moving+shooting version.

I was scrolling around some topics and i found out now that there is a Abrams tank model and also one for the PT-76
Can they be added in the next patch of BAT? (if they don't cause problems with other mods of course)

There is no one to modify. I have a problem with my eyes and I barely draw, The same problem with Max. Pete due to illness, also left the project. Left without skin: T-10. PT-76, Gorford, M-113, T-27, TOPOLINO, YAG-6, M-36.

ru: Дорабатывать некому. У меня проблема с глазами и я почти не рисую, Та же проблема с Максом. Пит из-за болезни. тоже покинул проект.  Остались без шкур: Т-10. ПТ-76, Горфорд, М-113, Т-27, TOPOLINO, ЯГ-6, М-36.

I did a little last night as a change from the churches, I need to make a dashboard but for now I am just doing
