Title: External views, F2 and F8?

I´d like to have the F2 and F views (in WAW) back to what they were before CUP! I´m getting airsick from the new way they´re working! Is there a simple way to revert to "old views"? Please! I´d also want to disable the mouse interfearing with the views, is that possible? The minimouse on my Warthog is too easy to move so I get out of focus accidently all the time, it might be a problem with the TARGET settings but I have no clue on how to disable that! Any help will be saluted! 8)

i am guessing you mean the smooth view thing from "visualmod" you can either turn those options off in the visualmod game menu while il-2 is running, or you can turn them off in your conf.ini.

i think the default key to open the game menu is "home". you can find/change this in the controls option of il-2. then you just open the menu, and there are options for "view" in the dropdown menu you can just disable.

in the conf.ini there should be a section called [Mods]

if not already present (i have dozens of entries here with all the visualmod and other mod settings)change or add:

PAL3DFollowInertiaEnabled=0
PAL3DExternalSoftView=0
PAL3DExternalMouseInertia=0
this SHOULD change it back to default behavior... i hope... :O
