Title: IJN Hiryu CV

This mod add new IJN carrier, Hiryu.
This model contains only normal lod.0 model and don't have damaged 3D model.
The collision box are set for Hull and bridge. However, starboard side of bridge's collision box is chopped for AI-take off.

 *note!   If you haven't added my Ise-mod(14/07/28)) yet , you need to rename Hiryu's "3do/when_not_using_ise-effects" folder to "3do/effects".
Hiryu uses same files as Ise-mod for light effect.

I uderstand you must set the spawn point for 0230 - 0600 for the lights to work in FMB but will they work in QMB as well? I have tried but they dont work. Am I doing something wrong?

Umm... in QMB? ?Before that, I don't know how to use optional object in QMB... any mod enables it?

You are using a Ise-mod? Then, maybe the problem precisely in the fact what I'm asking?

Sorry , ise-mod means ISE test for il-2 (14/07/28).
This version(latest) has 3do\effects\Lights folder and contains same files that hiryu is using.
I modified the note.

I set the active time randomly. There is no concrete reason.

Doesn't the effect of light work properly?
The class file of Hiryu is almost same as Ise. So if ise's light works, Hiryu's light also works...

I found out why I was having a problem with getting the lights.

I have ShipPack2 in my mods. That 3do was over riding this Hiryu. I kept getting a Hiryu that was based on the Akagi.

I removed all .ini listings for the ship pack's Hiryu and now it works. :)

To start modeling, modeler needs detailed cross section and document.
Of course, a plastic model also helps us to make based model.

In my Hiryu's case, I could check out a book compiling IJN ship's official cross sections from public library.
And I got 1/700 Hiryu's model at the same time.
So I decided to make Hiryu.
Now I think that was simplistic thinking :D

Hi Gerax,

installed Hiryu bye the textbook in a perfect working HSFX 7.0.3 incl. ISE-Mod. Only HSFX Hiryu shows up, no Damawos Hiryu. Delete all HSFX Hiryu

In a seperate DBW-Installation Hiryu works perfect

Hello to all!
With a delay of several years, I want to thank damawo for 2 wonderful models - Hiryu and Ise.
I have only one small problem with them in the game. When the illumination is on, you can see
black squares around flashing lights. Who knows what could be the reason?
