The Heinkel He 219 Uhu ("Eagle-Owl") was a night fighter that served with the German Luftwaffe in the later stages of World War II.
A relatively sophisticated design, the He 219 possessed a variety of innovations, including Lichtenstein SN-2 advanced VHF-band intercept radar,
also used on the Ju 88G and Bf 110G night fighters. It was also the first operational military aircraft to be equipped with ejection seats and
the first operational German World War II-era aircraft with tricycle landing gear.
Had the Uhu been available in quantity, it might have had a significant effect on the strategic night bombing offensive of the Royal Air Force but
only 294 of all models were built by the end of the war and these saw only limited service.

--- for those that received some of these skins for testing sent by me before. Please ERASE ALL of them from
your He219 folder before installing these new skins. Thanks guys

Take Note = this airplane does not use in-game roundels properly just yet. It does use squadron decals and
aircraft numbers+letters. So in this skin-package you will find some skins with roundels and another version
in "blanks" (no markings) so you can place any country roundels you which when the in-game stencils become
available..... Or paint them on the skin with Photoshop ;)

I have already seen that website with the nice model, thank you Lanius. That airplane will be featured in
my next He-219 Skin-Pack Nº2 ;)
I do have some better resolution photos of that particular airplane. I do not think the bottom part was painted in black,
but I could be wrong. Anyway, I will paint two diferent versions and you guys decide which you like best.

Thank you Pablo, but its not a mission. I just built a quick scene to test the colors of the skins in diferent
sunlight and weather conditions. I like to test my skins in the game to check for the best possible color
combinations, specially if its for an unpainted all-metal airplane skin.
The scene was a little game "diorama".
I must have had 5 Uhu and a bunch of other static-models laid out on a cool map. Mechanics fixing airplanes,
construction workers on bulldozers and airplanes flying and landing at the airbase.

It is a great map which I highly recomend to everyone and it already comes with 25+ populated airfields! You can
add even more static-model-objects to your pleasure.
Unfortunatelly I did not save the scene for my map. Only took about 40 photos in diferent weather conditions.

Only right, exactly as they are on Bf 109, Fw 190 etc... regarding the direction of the propeller in rotation.
