Post by: gio963tto on September 25, 2013, 03:13:56 AM
Stutter 1 1/2 _type 9400/9700_ 1A2/1B2/1B1

Strutter1 the Sopwith 1/2 was one of the most important aircraft in the middle period of the IWW, especially for the French Air Force (he received more than 5,000), but not only, was also the first modern military aircraft for many air forces, constitute also one the first observation aircraft for the American Expeditionary Force.

The cockpit of the MKIB_Bomber (multi) and NewMKIB (multi) I placed them as I can, but those of the gunners and the U-2VEX1 (gb) I could not get them to change.

Thanks Gio. You've all done a great job! Axis and Allies alike will be very pleased with this new development. All Axis Scout pilots have just been awarded a weeks leave in Brussels. That way they'll be ready to face this new two-seater.

cheers

David

just installed the latest two patches for DBW1016 which contains the rework of the Strutter, but I got weired problems with the cockpit view;
the Strutter 1a is missing all the braces, the windshield and some other other stuff directly in front of the pilot in cockpit view while the Strutter 1 shows another set of top wings apparently when looking to the right or to the left; is this normal?
I do not have much time right now before heading off to work, but will post some screenies of what I mean when I find the time;
the external view though looks great :)

thks for all the continued work on the WW1 planes :)

ok, found some time still to do the screenies, here they are...

Strutter 1 1/2

Strutter 1 1/2a

(https://www.sas1946.rocks/images/imageshit/a/img823/4982/ybwv.jpg)

I tried both, the version included in the update patch for DBW provided by vpmedia and the one from the link in this thread...

does anyone have any ideas...?

cheers

As I wrote in the topic I did what I could to change the existing cockpit to fit the Strutter, any change 3D (with the current set of shared cockpit) not only affects the cockpit Hier chosen but also on those of the other aircraft .
When and if the strutter will have its own slot with a dedicated folder of the cockpit will be possible to intervene in order to make it more similar to the original.

greetings GIO.

P.S.;I, I apologize, but are not great in changing and shaping the cockpit, so when possible I try to keep the originals that are repositioned definitely better than what I can do.

Hello Gio!

ah its not that big of a problem, I just found it strange that two versions of the same plane that should have the same cockpit have two different problems that concern two different cockpit views;

could adapting the hier.him maybe solve both problems, I mean creating some sort of "franken"hier.him out of both different hier.him files (if they are different at all - I did not check that...)

In the basic mod strutter single place, and one, of the two-seater strutter share the same cockpit, the other is not, while the gunner to use the same cockpit, all the cockpit (which are used in "DBW1916", except those dedicated) substantially are already of franken, because the base U2VS have changed the panel or the levers and all the tools I have adapted by adding new ones.
