Hi!
I would like to introduce you to the Arado Ar 64. This fighter plane was built to 1936 and it was also used during World War II as a trainer. I think flying on this small plane might be an interesting diversification of Sturmovik.
General characteristics of Ar 64E:
Powerplant: Siemens Jupiter VI, 9-cyl. air-cooled radial piston engine, 395 kW (530 hp)
Propeller: two-bladed constant speed propeller
Wingspan: 9.9 m (32,48 ft)
Length: 8.42 m (27,625 ft)
Height: 2,85 m (9,35 ft)
Wing area: 24,60 m² (264,792 ft²)
Empty weight: 1 245 kg ( 2,745 lb)
Max takeoff weight: 1 670 kg (3,682 lb)
Maximum speed: 250 km/h at 5 000 m (155,343 MPH at 16,405 ft)
Cruising speed: 215 km/h (133,595 MPH)
Time to altitude: 1,000 m (3,281 ft) in 1 min 48 s (for Ar 64A)
Service ceiling: 5 400 m (17,717 ft)
Crew: 1
Production: 34 (all Ar 64s)
Armament: 2x 7,92 mm ((0.312 in) MG 08/15 with 500 rpg
Around 20 Ar 64 served in the German air schools.

Siemens Jupiter? The Bristol Jupiter is very much like it and would not be surprised if it were liscence built from it or just copied ;)

Anyways would like to say that it could probably be an acrobatic plane as much as a trainer, most planes that were built as trainers were highly maneuverable and after IIWW they were used as airshow planes (and still are...) :)

Have a nice day! :P

Comparison with Avia Ba-122 could be interesting... ;)
