Here is a request for something that is needed (and would also look cool) for DBW-1916...
The "Char St. Chamond"...
This REQUEST has already been made by WingFlyr 8)
- and also by 12dose12 :)
Thank you!

The lines on it are very simple. Its a long rectangle box with a few angles in the front, a medium sized cannon and
some simple tracks on it. Small round turrets on top for the crew and a small exaust muffler placed in the middle.
The final painted skin would (and will) make it look more realistic in the end.
Think about this vehicle.
Some nice BIG blueprints for you

Take a look at this post from another forum and see what you think of this strange vehicle...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint-Chamond_(tank)
The Saint-Chamond was the second French heavy tank of the First World War. Born of the commercial rivalry with the makers of the Schneider CA1, the Saint-Chamond was an inadequate design. Four hundred Saint-Chamond tanks were manufactured but most of them were destroyed in action.

Hi, max_thehitman. It would be a logical inclusion for #DBW1916. It would probably look OK in Warhammer 40k too.
cheers

The other French tank employed in significant numbers was the Schneider CA1. 400 built.
Looks more like an APC

In fact looks like a SciFi APC.

Yes, RealDarko. Models of those types wouldn't look out of place in a table top Warhammer 40k game.

We really do need a java coder to take a look at the practicality of enabling multiple guns on these tanks. In general terms what is needed is the gun code from shipgeneric.java merged with the waypoint following code from tankgeneric.java ----- but I'm sure its not that simple.
-
Max, I'm willing to do that tank, seems tricky but interesting :D
Is this ok to you ?
-
In fact looks like a SciFi APC.
That is exactly what I was also thinking.
Many of these first tank designs are like "cyber-punk-sci-fi " machines ;D
They seem to look like something from another world.

I love these monsters. This one was the biggest French WWi tank and it's the one that looks like a landship the most. Their performance was awful, but they'll sure look great in game and will make a great target. ;D

Thank you to both artists.

No, you do not have to make it.
It´s already made by WingFlyr.
He also made and finished a St.Chamond tank.
