DBW 1.0 to 1.71 SuperPack One-Stop Download & Install

Hi guys!

I am getting around to this a bit late in the day, but I am posting it up here so long cause I know some guys were waiting for it.

This is a 7z archive in 4 parts. Each part is about 550MB large. They unpack together when you use 7z on the first part. They all together give you the complete and correct DBW 1.71, that can be copied over to your UP3 RC4 isntall. This makes getting into DBW much easier, right? :)

2 things:
1) I am too tired and over worked right this moment to write a nice and easy quick install guide. All I have is the Quick install guide and the few notes below. Anyone is welcome to write some better guides or tutorials for us. :)
2) These are big archives and a big package, and we are hosting it on a paid for mediafire pro account (like the one M4T uses). This costs money, and I expect will strain our budget a little for the first while, while everyone is grabbing this, and we also put up some more big files, like a one stop FBDSM download for DBW users, or a complete IL2 game update package, or a complete UP3RC1 to 4 update package. Of course if anyone is able to provide a mirror for dl, that would be just as good!

Quick Install Guide For DBW Build 1.71 super install
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The goal is to have one single download that includes all DBW content from build 1 to 1.71

Requirements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~ Working copy of IL2 1946 v 4.101, with UP3, and any UP3 hotfixes and updates, installed and working (at least up to UP3 RC4 or later)



Installation:
~~~~~~~~~~~~

step 1 ~ Use 7zip to unpack all the parts of the superinstall

step 2 ~ make sure to DISABLE all jsgme mods

Step 3 ~ Copy over all the files from the download to your game, overwriting when prompted

Step 4 ~ Open the IL-2 Selector.exe, and make a setting of your choice, and save that setting. It is important to save the setting at least once after installation, to allow the new selector to set itself up properly. Read the included selector pdf guide in the DBW 1.7 dox folder for more info. After that you can launch your game either with the selector or with the il2fb.exe it creates.


For credits, notes and all things interesting, read the documents you find, wherever they are!

Stock 4.07m to DBW 1.71 SuperPack One-Stop Download & Install (the famous SAS F'nBigSuperPack !)

This pack is for people who have Stock 4.07m, or any stock version up to 4.101m. Installing this will give them all stock updates, direct to drive patches, the latest selector, and Also UP3RC4, and of course complete DBW up to v1.71.

Instructions: Download all 19 parts of superpatch into a folder somewhere, and run the exe (part1). Follow your instincts.
