HMS Colossus CV's other countries variation family pack v1.01

(Changes from 1.00 : preparing Ship Extentions 2.11 , delete Orislany - She is contained Essex 1960 pack)

HMS Colossus is the MOD made by Flakiten.
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,8477.0.html
She has the style after Jet Era (around 1956) modernization, with a small angled deck.

Today, I'm helped by crazyeddie, Colossus class, Majestic class and Centaur class Royal Navy or other countries (sold from RN) skins and new slots prepair.
They are 11 slots, 9 ships.

ARA Veinticinco de Mayo CV (Argentina)
HMAS Melbourne CV (Australia)
HMCS Bonaventure CV 1 (Canada)
HMCS Bonaventure CV 2 (Canada)
HMS Centaur CV (Royal Navy)
HMS Hermes LPH /1972 (Royal Navy)
Karel Doorman CV, R81 (Nederland)
Vikrant CV 1 (India)
Vikrant CV 2 (India)
NAeL Minas Gerais (Brasil)

At HMCS Bonaventure and Vikrant, 2 patterns defferent deck paint.
It's modelize time difference. (But WHEN the each models photos taken are unknown)

HMS Hermes LPH /1972, she is not Carrier ship.
At 1971-1980, Hermes worked as amphibious assault ship(LPH). So, this time Hermes didn't have aircrafts, had only helicopters, Hermes doesn't have Catapult and Arresting wire.

NOTICE at Catapult use:
HMAS Melbourne CV, HMCS Bonaventure CV 2, HMS Centaur CV, USS Oriskany CV, at these 4 ships skin you see on deck from cockpit, catapult's starting point is moved from original Colossus skin.
But "Catapult MOD" 's starting point is not moved from original Colossus.
AI can set the aircraft right on "Catapult MOD" 's starting point by Carrier Take-Off MOD(5.3.4 or 5.4), ignoring skin paint.
We - players - have to set the aircraft right on "Catapult MOD" 's starting point by handy taxing, instead of invisible the point in skin.
We have to remember the starting point from original Colossus skin.

All I ever wanted was CVS-12 USS Hornet. Operating off the coast of North Vietnam, 5 September 1967.That's all.

Just done that deck - CV12 - to go with this mod, not sure how accurate it is but I will upload it tomorrow night. It looks very like the Oriskany with a couple of small changes, you might be happy with that.

Today, I have a new plan to move/rotate arresting wires.
Flakiten's original Colossus MOD has 90deg to front arresting wires. Not angled as angled deck.
I read ... this arresting wires are historical style in ARA Independencia (She was the first carrier Argentina had). Pablo told me it.

And  I found a blueprint of ARA Veinticinco de Mayo(the second carrier Argentina had).
This blueprint shows ARA Veinticinco de Mayo has angled arresting wires.
I will make this.

I search other Colossus family's other blueprints, but nothing on web.
Then I can't decide whole my MOD Colossuses have angled arresting wires, or some of them only.
Anyone knows blueprints showing arresting wires angled/not-angled of other Melbourne, Bonaventure, Vikrant, etc.
Or without blueprints , historical data by text OK.

When no one knows this, I will make all ships having angled arresting wires.

western0221,

I have installed your mod and it seems that I have missed a step. When I get into the game, the Colossus shows up unchanged.

Cheers,

Riptide

Hello, Riptide!

This MOD is NOT replacing Flakitin's original Colossus CV one.
This MOD has all new slots for each new ships.
When you add lines to *.ini and technics_ru.properties right like written in readme_en.txt,
each ships are shown in Ship object menu or Stationary Ship object menu by new names.

western0221,

Thank you for your quick response to my question.

Unfortunately, the readme file in the MOD download does not mention adding any lines to the technics_ru.properties file. You did provide the following files with lines to be added to the *.ini files:

TO_chief.ini
TO_ships.ini
TO_stationary.ini
TX_chief.ini

I did added these lines to the appropriate *.ini file.

So, all I need is the TO_technics_ru.properties file.

Cheers,

Riptide

Riptide_One, you says zip is original Flakitin's Colossus CV's zip.
Not mine.
My zip contains files beginning "add.*".

When I release my ship MOD, I contains add file to technics_ru.properties,
but in fact, technics_ru.properties is an optional one.
When nothing add to technics_ru.properties, FMB Ship menu or Stationary Ship menu show you chief.ini's name.

Hi guys. Could someone please tell me how to get the USS Hornet version posted on page one. I tried to copy the tga's into one of the folders but no luck. The first link in CrazyEddies post is dead. Is there something missing that I need or need to do?

Thank you.

This excellent pack works good in 4.12.2/SAS ModAct 5.30.

Argentinian F9F-2 Panther starting from ARA Veinticinco de Mayo.
