Allison Engine Sound for P40 Family (https://storebror.it.cx/sas/archive/sasdl/sound//Y_Allison_MotorSound.7z)
This is a cutout from HSFX 3, so S! To
Charlie Chap & SG2_Wasi.
They werer however sligtly meesed, so i fixed them the crackles, also balanced externals a bit better.
These files are tested in a Professional Sound studio, and tested with all Sound setting set to "default", with no extensions.
Even so, you may have some issues on your highly customized rig. One size never fits all in the computer world, does it?
But then, since we did not plonk a whole bag with hundreds of files all stashed together inside your game, you can easily take it out if you don't like it.
All SASS mods are all standardized at 22KHz and 16bits. They are designed for a great balance between weight and quality. In most cases they are reworks or repacks of other sound mods.
These mods mostly work only with the SAS Buttons files. Use the latest one always.

Hi CirxC, just a quick question: in my presets I have motor.Allison.prs and motor.Allison_tb.prs. Your file has 'only' the
motor.Allison.prs. Do I only have to replace the motor.Allison.prs file? What's the function of the _tb.prs file? I saw that the same in the Corsair sound.
Thanks in advance

it is just a name, download our soundmatrix , you will find it in the buttosn thread, and in it you will see how our sound assignments work.
BTW if you have HSFX or UP20 or the SAS SFS soundmod, you already have this mod.

Can you point me to some P-38 engine sounds.

umm - the P-38 used Allison engines, which would be these.... ???
edit: sorry, i see the 38's use the motor.Allison_tb.prs, so it'll be different...Jafa is working on new 38 engine sounds, other than that, i can't say...here's a link to an older one done by HH_Cipher, i think it's pretty good: https://www.mediafire.com/?nylj4vlaqzj ;)
