That is one of the craziest landing techniques I've ever heard!!! Landing backwards!!!

Well it saved their butts so way to go there! Very smart and quick thinking under enormous pressure. That is what separates the pros from the amateurs I guess.

Love these great stories from ww11 thanks. Now wonder how long it took to take out their seats from their rear due to pucker power
