Title: Attack Ground Targets Order Range Increase v 1.0 [4.09] [4.10]

This mod (inspired by Slikk), will increase the range at which your wingmen will "see" ground targets when you give the "Attack Ground Targets" order.

They will now pick up targets at 8000m, rather than 3000m, which should lead to less "Unable to comply" messages, and make torpedo runs, dive bombing, etc, easier.

This mod does not affect "Attack Bombers" or "Attack Fighters" commands. It should work in 4.10. It should be compatible with Frog's Formation Mod.

Edit: And it doesn't conflict with Zuti, at least at a class file level. Awesome for coops in my squad.

Great work as always CY6. Is there any way to make the range dependent upon the mission weather? ie range 8,000m in clear weather but 3,000m (or less) in rain or snow?

I don't think that's really necessary, since if you can see the ground units to give the order then presumably you would be able to tell your squadmates where they are as well.

Thanks for the great improvement you are giving at the more diseregarded aspect of the game....the AI behaviour and all it's surround environment!

Finally after many years of modding the game begin to look more 'human'!!!!

Seriously ...is the short range issue why in all the years I've played this I've never got my fellow airmen to ever sttack ships we are right over??? >:(

I've always wanted to ask this question, but delayed...I assumed I was just doing something stupid in not getting my guys to attack..and there was a simple solution everyone knew but me.
Many thanks for putting me out of my misery...am hoping the battle of Midway ( etc.) will now go better for my side!

Now I don't have to give my orders at the same time as making my attack run - huge improvement. If we carry on like this we'll be able to "sell" il-2 MODDED back to Oleg to be re-released.......
