Title: Nice tool for Mission makers
Post by: Uzin on March 05, 2012, 04:08:16 AM
Thanks to Karabas-Barabas, I noticed nice tool for mission makers in FMB of 4.11:
By chosing new offer:
"View-Display Filter - Show Spawn points"
you can make the parking points on the airfield visible, so easily avoiding the errors due to placing objects too near to these spawn points.
This works for each map in 4.11 RMB, without the necessity to learn map-builder version of FRMB.
It would be very nice of our pgming gurus to introduce this feature also into DBW and UP installs.

Not a download. It is a feature of the FMB in 4.11.1m under the VIEW menu in the FMB.

Zuti use to have this Mod available,ZutiSpawnExtractor
it could extract spawn points from maps and make a mission file with small bombers showing the spawn points to ease mission building

The mod, like a lot of Zuti's Mods... is now embedded/featured into the game in TD Patches   ;)

Please tell me how to put your East Baltic map on the QMB !
Is it possible ?
Yes, it is.
First, after opening the map in FMB, you must create at least the None missions for both red and blue side an save .
Then you can add these missions into QMB as usual for any other map.
Precise procedure depends on the Il2 version you are using.
Are you familiar with these procedures ? Did you added any other map to QMB ?

1.Go to your folder "Il2 sturmovik 1946/Missions/Quick/"

2. Create there the folder "EastBalt"

3. Place there your missions:

"EastBaltRedNoneA00.mis"
"EastBaltRedNoneD00.mis"
"EastBaltRedNoneN00.mis"
"EastBaltBlueNoneA00.mis"
"EastBaltBlueNoneD00.mis"
"EastBaltBlueNoneN00.mis"

Note: create these missions in a way similar to those in other folder which is in folder "Il2 sturmovik 1946/Missions/Quick/".

Then you can add further missions as described in the tutorial I gave the link above.
Good luck !
