In January 2018 it became 10 years since I published my very first public skin-pack. To celebrate the ten-year anniversary, I'll be launching skin-packs at Mission 4 Today. That is where my first skins were published and that is where it all started. That is the place where my earliest skins (still) are hosted.
First of the lot:

If you continue for 10 more years, I'll have to buy a new HD to stock them all.
But it will be worth it a thousand times :) :) :)
Thanks you!
-
Congrats! Happy to see you back :)
I have a problem downloading the JG 6 Doras. The dowload breaks at about one third. Has anyone experienced it as well? Got it! :)
-
Back with a great pack, thanks Emel !

Congretulations Emel, I'm glad you have kept it up for so long and with such quality.
-
Hi eMeL, Great work as always.
Thank you, for sharing your work with us for so many years. 8)
Best Regards,

So many of you there, my goodness!
Thank you so much. Greatly appreciated. I never figured it would last this long. Initially I only planned to skin the Soviet planes as they were less popular among the skinners and I had an interest on them. Furthermore, I thought I didn't stand a chance against the top caliber skinners such as Fly by Shooter, Kristorf, Phas3e, vpmedia etc. But the hunger never went away and here I am today still at it... but it wouldn't be that way without you and your continuing interest. So, once again thank you very much.
Congrats! Happy to see you back :)

Glad to hear you got over with it. Happy flying :)

Would be the proudest thing for me to see new skinner's appear inspired of something that I did :)

Super nice gift eMeL 8) Thank you so much!
I really like this classic aircraft as it brings back memories from my childhood days building a plastic model of it.
Now I can get to fly in one with some very cool skin art ! It´s a great gift!
-
Many thanks for these, Emel. outstanding work!
-
Hey Emel,
I'm late to the show (as usual).
Rather than thanks you for all the wonderful skins you have have produced over the last decade ( and for the many , many I enjoy personally) ,
I will instead say how great it is to have someone who is so ready to respond to requests , and so prepared to assist others
scratching away trying to learn the dark art of skinning.
Thanks.
Kopfdorfer
-
Big thank you Emel for all skins provided and, as Kopfdorfer says your very friendly communication when needed.
-
It gets no better than this. Hats off
-
Yes, many, many thanks for your great effort! I’ve flown with your skins on countless occasions!

Again I thank you for your kind comments, much appreciated.

-
Awesome, Bomber. The firepower of the Ta 152C... A dreadful threat to allied air power if available in sufficient numbers, luckily did not happen and probably wouldn't happened anyway, as the jet era was dawning. But a great what-if aircraft anyway. Here, however, are two fighters that did exist in February-April 1944:

VERY cool "Twin-Pack" !
Super Nice! 8) Love the little details you painted on them.

I have enjoyed your "Twin-packs" over the past years, they are like a little piece of history from
a HISTORY-Channel episode. We get to make our own historical flights and dogfights 8)
Thanks very much eMeL !
-
Thanks eMeL
-
Great work, Thank you!
-
Thanks Max appreciate that. It's been a long while since the last Twin pack, I just hope the running number 19 is correct ;)
Thank you for your kind comments gents.

Verbandsführerschule des General der Jagdflieger.
This was a training unit for unit leaders operating with the FW 190D-11 at a very late stage in the war.
This skin pack includes most, if not all, known Dora 11's of that unit.
24 FW190 skins with generics, swastika and blank skins included.

Excellent news!
-
Thank You
Great looking skins
-
The quality of these last two packs is from another world; one can make 'Robert Taylor like' screenshots with them. Historical research is, as always, very high quality. Please keep skinning for at least another 25 years eMel.
Although I have 1 point: white 81 has the number 61 on its leading edge, must be a typo.
-
Robert Taylor like skins.....incredible eMeL! Love the D-11's thats a set I'd always know you'd make beautiful! All of your skins are classics to be cherished!
All the best sir!
-
Thank you for your kind comments, much appreciated :) !
Afaik, the mysterious "White chevron and 81" is likely due to a misinterpretation. Both 61 and 81 are in fact the same A/C. If you look closely at the skins of these aircraft you'll notice that their camo's are identical indicating they are the same with differing tac numbers. As far as the typo is concerned, colour profile (Think it's by Jerry Crandall) shows number 81 on fuselage and 61 on the wings - baffling isn't it? However, when looking at the image on "Walk Around FW 190D No 10" publication and even more clearly at an image from google, it's clearly a 61. I included the version 81 as an option "just in case".
(Note the unorthodox wing camouflage pattern).
Of course one can speculate if the code number 61 was later replaced with 81, but IMO the image above proves this is not the case. Anyway, I hope this helped. Bear in mind I'm an amateur aviation historian at the best and there may well be more info out there than what I can gather. Thank you for your interest in this subject and happy flying.

Great job, as always!, Thank you.

10 years? it would take me that long to do one skin! Following advice from max I downloaded Gimp and thought i'd give skinning a try ( following word for word steps on youtube ) and as yet have created nothing but a complete mess. Many thanks for these beautiful skins and may you continue making them...And for those (like me) who thought producing these is simple, trust me it's not, I now have a tremendous respect for skinners.

OOOoooo :o Twin-Pack 20 8) Very cool selection eMeL!

@ nightfighter
Reminds very much of me when I first tried skinning. I knew nothing of PS and attempted to paint everything in a single layer... you can imagine the result, I was so baffled... :)) Keep trying, the open sesame to skinning will come to you ]thumbsup[

Thank you and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to You!
Well, Gents one more time I'm bothering you with this thread and then it's history as the year 2018 is drawing to its end.

Please note that some skins may not be completely compatible as they are for modded aircraft but they should work well enough with default skins. Bf 109G-10 Erla and G-14AS works with default G-10 and P-40K and N should work with any default pre 4.13 P-40 models with some difference in detail. I forgot to mention this in the Read me files so that's why I'm giving this note.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
-
Have a great turn of the year eMeL and thanks a bomb for all the great skins you share with us!

An enormous amount of skins...
Yup, I hope your hangar's can handle them :P ;). I was half blind last night after handling literally hundreds of bmp's - saving them and naming them and uploading them; writing down read-me file references, creating screenshots and updating posts at SAS and M4T... pheew.
Well anyway, thank you again for your continuing interest on my works, Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!
Cool screenshots Bomber!
-
Hi eMeL, Thank you for your gift, In the case of these beautiful skins quantity goes hand in hand with quality 8), besides, I very like your adherence to historical details supported by professional literature.
I don't know how it will endure my hard drive :D, but I am very happy to download another package of unique skins.
Marry Christmas season and a Happy New Year.
