Title: Possible to Install One Module of BAT?
Post by: duffys tavern on November 06, 2018, 06:27:11 PM
BAT 3.4
BAT is working fine except for WAW, CDT 60%. Says, "Linebacker module: 'unknown'". All other modules ok. Is it possible to install only one single module? Any help appreciated.

Hi ! Not sure if it's possible, but it would be possible to extract all the BAT 3.4 content in another place and, then use the new #WAW3 folder for replacement. That's how I manage to have a clean module folder when I want to 'clone' them...

Thanks Gatrasz, I'll try it.

Well I used the installer and everything worked fine. Man this BAT is swell. Really appreciate all the work that’s gone into this.

with BAT 3.4 the use of the installer exe is MANDATORY!

it says so in the install description and is so for a reason.

You can use the installer and after the installation you can delete the ones you don't want .

First examine the STD\.rc files for each module to see what folders they use.

B.A.T. V3.0 Checkpoint Charlie, B.A.T. V3.1 Operation Sealion, B.A.T. V3.2 Angels High, B.A.T. V3.3 Pathfinder and B.A.T. V3.4 Linebacker uses these folders:

DOF3:
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT00
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT01
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT01B

JTW3:
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT04
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT00
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT04B

TGA3:
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT02
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT00
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT02B

WAW3:
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT03
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT00
@sfsautomount MOUNT BAT03B

I have limited disk space and only use DOF3, so I've only kept the needed folders (#DOF3, BAT00, BAT01, BAT01B) and I also kept the BATDOCS folder.

But this is of course at our own risk and without support from the BAT devs.

Best regards
