Title: ju87 repaint [4.09] [4.10] [4.11] [4.12]
Post by: bolox on December 23, 2010, 03:10:25 PM
this is very much a temporary fix until S_SB does the job properly ;)

i've borrowed alot of textures from his B model and transferred them into the D models with some gauge textures i happened to have lying around.

i've also tried to fix some of the faults in the original model such as 'lines' when using AA. not all are fixed- such as the 'disco' nightlighting on certain parts. see https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,11892.0.html

think of it as a little xmas prezzy before 4.10 lands :D

Thank you for this D cockpit Bolox!

Hi, bolox. Thank you for this nice work! I've had it for awhile now, but have only recently gotten into flying the stuka. Could you tell me though, how to increase the outside coverage size of the reticle mask? With TrackIR use the reticle appears on the dash when leaning side to side. Thanks.

mess around in heir.him file- the Z_Z_Mask section, can be boring/fiddly to say the least :P

Apologies if this has been wrongly posted but there is an area of the Stuka cockpit that has not been visited, and that is the rather glaring errors in the canopy framing.....(or would that be airframe?) I am referring to the fixed canopy section behind the pilot's sliding section and the gunner's sliding section, both of which are missing some vertical side framing. Is this fixable please? The framing in the stock model seems to be based on a badly retouched photo of an early B model where the framing has been retouched out in precisely those positions!
And the cockpit at the beginning of this topic is beautiful, thank you!

hi Peter
it'll really make any potential modder's life much easier if you could provide some photos/pics of exactly how the frame should look.
exactly which variants had said frame, etc....?
we ask all fix requests for as much valid info as possible, so that these guys don't have to first go and hunt to find exactly what is being referred to before they can begin to make a mod... ;)

Hi gentlemen,
vpmedia,
Thank you, this shows it clearly and makes a huge difference to the ugly beast!

sasMalone,
Thank you for your reply. Sorry for not supplying pix. That is a skill I have yet to learn...  right now!
