Title: How do I save a new version of a mission ?
Post by: dietz on May 17, 2019, 10:41:31 AM
Last night I took an old B-17 Single  Mission ( B-17 Wedgie) & changed all the B-17G's to B-17F's. I hit save mission option but when the new small screen came up indicating I had to place it in the corresponding folder I hit add or whatever command was appropriate, but nothing happened .I had to cancel to get out of that screen.I went ahead & "flew " the mission with the B-17F's, but unfortunately it wasn't saved anywhere that i could find.If I want to fly it again I'll have to go thru changing the many B-17G's all over again. Can someone help me ? Thanks! ;)

Hello dietz,

we have to know what you are flying. It's really easy in my 4.10.1 & DBW.

I open the mission by clicking on the "F.M.B." button.

I change what I want to change and then click in the tab on the top left: "SAVE".

However, I suspect that you with 4.12 & B.A.T. or similar flies.

Best regards, Gerhard  :)

FMB works just the same in BAT ;)

open mission in FMB - change stuff - save as....

Hi dietz,

You better open the mission with notepad and use the function "Edit > Replace"...

Back up the original mission first!
