Just wanted to say thank you to all the modders who make IL-2 '46 one of the best combat flight sims ever. Thanks for all the time and effort put in for us fans. You are the few who do so much for us. Thank you all. Regards,Scott

Agree with everyone. I don't think it can be said enough. There's some real talent and commitment in our community.

I've spent many happy hours building and flying with IL 2 +SAS
It's always a blast when a new aircraft is released.....even if it's from a time period I'm not particularly interested in......they're always great fun

.....and all given freely and all for little or no financial cost to myself  ;D

Many thanks to all modders, skinners, mapmakers and developers......and also to the long suffering SAS crew that run this website   :D

If you really want to see what modding has brought to the game, take a spin around the original demo or one of the early versions of IL2.

17 years old game, so it's mean I have began to play at 13. So many change during thoses years! Thanks to all who have improved it!
