Bonjour.

Pour cette nouvelle Map après 5 à 6 mois de travail en collaboration
avec J.P 'Pa-Dore' lui sur S.E.O.W et moi sur la carte nous avons pu avancer relativement vite en supprimant pas mal d'erreurs.

Pour l'ex Yougoslavie peut de choses, le but étant le sud de la France et l'Italie.

Pensez à lire le readme.

Cette Map n'a aucun ajout d'objet ou modification,  juste un changement de texture des ponts bois plus réaliste ici. (texture dans le mod)

Les ports de Toulon et Marseille sont en partis navigables pas évident à réaliser.
Pour les bases rien en Histo pour le moment (c’est un gros travail), seul les caps déco/attéro respectés.

Hello.

For this new Map after 5 to 6 months of collaborative work

This Map has no object addition or modification, just a more realistic wooden bridge texture change here. (Texture in the mod)

The ports of Toulon and Marseilles are in navigable parties not obvious to realize.

Il me semble bien qu'en principe les cartes sont compatibles avec toutes les versions du jeu ...  ;)

Seul le fait qu'il te manque éventuellement un ou plusieurs objets présents dans la nouvelle carte t'empêcherait de sauvegarder des missions conçues avec le FMB ... :-X

Bon par contre pour moi c'est un échec (jeu en 4.09m) ...  :-X

J'ai un log de 680 ko, il doit me manquer pas mal d'objets, impossible de sauvegarder la moindre mission, qui d'ailleurs se bâtit dans le FMB avec avec comme fond le Provence_m01.tga et non le "plan" classique ...

Il a aussi fallu que je passe le Provence_m01.tga de 43.9 Mo et le Provence_m02.tga de 49 Mo de 24 bits à 8 bits pour que la carte se charge ...

Pour les msg LongBridge: too big offset c'est un peu normal le pont est trop long sur une rivières en " S " et trop court pour en placer deux GILL au eu le même problème sur West-Front.

Juste une alerte sans problème pour les missions.

Après l'histoire Ed01 et Ed02 très curieux Map chargée sur 4 machines différentes et chez Pa-Dore sans problème, la il y a un truc
chez toi, mais bon si tu as trouvé c'est le principale tout a été fait sur GIMP.

Testé avec BAT/WAW, ça marche au poil, tous les objets nécessaires sont là et les missions sauvent sans problème.

Merci pour ton retour, Spit973, je tenterai à nouveau demain, mais sans trop d'espoir, car je vois que cette très belle carte a été surtout taillée pour HSFX, et il doit donc y avoir des objets inclus dans HSFX que je n'ai pas dans ma 4.09m, c'est donc sans (trop) d'espoir ...  :-[

C'est le souci que posent les cartes conçues à partir d'une version spécifique du jeu, la plupart du temps, si elles utilisent des objets non stock, elle ne sont pas utilisables (pour faire des missions avec le FMB) pour les autres versions du jeu ...  :(

Reste bien sûr la solution de lister tous les objets manquants, puis les trouver, puis les installer, mais s'ils sont trop nombreux c'est vraiment trop galère ... :-X

En tout cas bravo à JP et toi pour ce beau boulot ...!  ;)

Si tu comptes rester sur 4.09m jusqu'en 2032 tu pourrais télécharger les archives BAT (par exemple), extraire les fichiers SFS dans un petit coin pour les avoir à portée de main. C'est ce que j'utilise et, avec un bon indexeur de fichiers pour la recherche, je trouve tout très rapidement.

J'ai vu... mais pour l'installation, ça a l'air bien compliqué... apparemment, tous les ini ont l'air d'être modifiés, puisqu'ils sont fournis... mais comme les miens le sont aussi... pas glop ! ce qui m'intéresse, c'est juste les nouvelles lignes à ajouter, pas les ini complets... donc... j'attends qu'elle soit incluse dans BAT !

Oui tu as raison ! C'est le gros défaut de certains moddeurs de mettre la totalité des données de leurs propres fichiers ini !
Mais pour cette carte il n'y a rien à ajouter dans le static.ini ! Sauf s'il te manque des objets...
Le contenu de 3DO\Bridges\Country se contente de changer les fichiers tga !
Et pour le all.ini il y a uniquement cette ligne à ajouter :
Provence-Italie-1944(Spit973)    Provence/Provence_load.ini

Yes, you're right ! This is the big flaw of some modders to put the entire data of their own ini files!
But for this card there is nothing to add in the static.ini! Unless you are missing objects ...
The contents of 3DO\Bridges\Country just change the tga files!
And for the all.ini there is only this line to add:

Provence-Italie-1944(Spit973)    Provence/Provence_load.ini

By the way (tous ces messages en français, tout à coup, ça fait bizarre sur ce forum :P ), the map loads in my CUP 22 install but cannot save, so I must miss objects. The solution seems to be B.A.T., where I guess that HSFX 7 objects were included ?

Edit: forget it, missions save without problem, I used a wrong static.ini

Well in fact since Spit973 is French and named his map Provence-Italie, he started his new topic in French and then used Google translator, and then Epervier came and made a comment in French, and then I came and did the same, and then Gaston (who is Swiss if I am not mistaken) came and...  :-X

Try changing the texture in the " Wood 0 " through " Wood 3 " section. You might find one that wont show the tile effect so much. Also, I have found it helps smetimes to add a ,-2 or ,2 to change the size of the texture to help as well.

Perhaps redundant to say but Wood2 texture needs to be edited so that forest in foreground blends well with the green colour at far distance.
In last screenshot the separation of both colours are very visible.

Looks promissing though.  :)

What I meant is the visible difference in colour at far distance. It happens when colours of textures of forest in [WOOD] section does not match with texture of Wood2 in [FIELDS] section in load.ini.
Wood2 is responsible for texture colour of far distance forest.

I've never been there either (the pics show Corsica), but I've been to places in Italy and Greece, and in the Mediterranean, olive groves on mountain slopes are a fairly common sight.
Of course some textures are slightly misplaced (esp. city textures), because I only replaced them with others. I need more time - and to re-learn to use the unlocked FMB, which I haven't used for years! :) - in order to re-texture "by hand", so to speak, tile after tile.
