Hello, mates! :) I would like to create new squadron, an opponent or a friend of FAC and begin the recruiting.
Haven't gave it a name yet, but have a symbol for it:

You may offer your own! ;)
I want to give custom skins for all the sqn members - black with flame, like those you maybe already saw on me.
Also every member will have his own symbol, for me it is flaming heart.
It won't have any serious responsibilities, primarily having fun :D
So, if you would like to join the new squadron, PM me or write in this thread.
Online will be primarily on the SAS server (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=41394.0), later maybe somewhere else.

What version is needed? PS, are there any skins for the B-25? I'm pretty good at painting it ;) I have done about 40 B-25 skins, of which 2 are racing skins.

For playing in the SAS server, needed 4.10.1 version + Ultrapack 3 RC 4.
About skins - I will paint them for the aircrafts that you want to use. :)

Due to the fact I haven't been saying anything about the squadron for quite a long time, I want to give some news :D
Now I am not able to play on the server, at the 6th of the September I have moved to the Saint-Petersburg
and didn't take the stick from the home. Playing without it will be... :-X :-\ :'( ...
But at the 17 october I will visit my home and will take some things, including the stick :D
I think to make regular flights, e.g. in the evening of two or three days in the week,
but not in the Saturday or Sunday, because I will be with my girlfriend then.
I can take part in them, o.c., only after 19 oct., when I will return to the SPb.
Make your suggestions about flights' days ;)

Hello! :)
When you install the UP 3, you don't need any extra buttons at all.
And I think that using some another buttons file will be counted as cheating... :-\

When you install the UP 3, you will find out that Jet era is already included in it.
So, you don't need any extra mods or so on ;)

We have discussed here that online of the our squadron is planned only at the Saturday (for now).
And even if you will not be able to play in some Saturdays, we will not be offended ;)

Thats a little problem. I dont know which one is the right one and the best one for me. :-\\ I was thinking of taking P38 it shoots very well and its excellent in destroying targets but it is made for ground attack more than for dogfights and it doesnt turn well like the normal fighter plane. And i was thinking of flying with Mustang but when i want to climb it starts to behave strangely, spin in the air and stalls and i cant control it except by turning on the autopilot on and off after it gains some speed. I need to tap my down arrow key to climb. Japans dont have good planes. Russians have good planes but not the ones i was looking for. Tempest ( Mustangs twin brother as i like to call it ) is just like Mustang when comes to climbing. Maybe i am doing something wrong or these planes hate me. I was thinking of taking some jets but when i am in danger i click on the button for increasing the throttle drastically but my engine cought fire and it blows. Bf 109 maybe? I dont know which one is great. :-\\

You know, just you have to practice in flights a bit ;)
These planes are perfect if you know their bad sides perfectly and just feel the plane ;)
Well, the list of the planes depends on the mission (we don't have strict limits so far).
Come at SAS server at the Saturday (tell me your time zone and I will tell you the exact time).
We will have a little bit flight practice I hope :)

The Rage thanks for the explanation. I am practicing in QMB like shooting and dogfighting. For shooting practice i am using bombers and i am practicing to avoid tail guns and how to deal with them, and for dogfighting i am using fighters. I got your message and i did everything you told me. And my time zone is CET.

It will be 9-10 a.m. of the Moscow time.
I am using Version 4.10.1 moded with SAS Engine mod for 4.10.1, Combined Planes Contrail Fix v2 and SAS AI engine hotkeys carriers. Does that effects my online playing?
Unfortunately, you can't play with that install on the SAS server.
You should install:
1. 4.10.1 clean version.
2. Ultrapack 3 RC 4 (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,23452.0.html).
(optionally) Some mods (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,38195.0.html) thar BravoFxTrt said are compatible for online playing.
PS: when I decided to play online, I had to install Ultrapack, if there were no online in my plans, I would never have installed it.
PPS: I have two installs on my PC: 4.10.1+UP (for online) and 4.12.2+SAS MA with my private mod installs ;)
Having two or more IL-2 installs on your PC at the same time doesn't affect anything ;)

The key feature of GMT is that it's always the same timezone, no DST shifting, nothing.
Your timezone is MSK (Moscow Standard Time) which is GMT +3 with no DST (at least not this year ;) ).
For comparison, my timezone currently is CEST (Central European Summer Time) which is GMT +2, but that's just since last sunday, before it was CET (Central European Time) which was GMT +1.
The shift happened because my timezone has DST while GMT hasn't.

Regarding the Mission: We have lot's of Rabaul missions on the Server currently (5!) and I don't know which of them includes what you want to fly.
At the moment the Crete mission is running (3 hours), after that one three Rabaul missions are lined up; just use the "<vote yes" command to get rid of what you don't like ;)

Try to install it and connect to the server and then we will have further talks ;)

I am really sorry that I can't fly with you, but my installation of UP3 went FUBAR, so I won't be flying on the server anytime soon. Once again, sorry.
HOWEVER.
Me and SAS~Tom2 (aka Thorsten) were thinking about some jet flying (MA 5.3, custom mods), so we might as well make it proper event - if anyone wants to come with us, he's welcome - as well as FAC guys. For starters it will be just some random flying - like formations, navigation, low passes,... just to test how it works - if noone capable of hosting appear, we will be connecting through virtual LAN.
If everything goes smoothly, we might as well do some badass dogfight stuff or so :D
First - we will have to set the list of needed mods and the date...

BTW, Thorsten - as for your question in chat - that map is based on Black sea map that already has been made (I don't remember the author, it's in ETO maps), I'm just redoing the airports and changing the textures and adding some city/village areas - to stock map, nowadays Sevastopol is twice as big! xD

It depends on hosting metod.
Option one: We get somebody who can actually host as normal server so that anybody can join.
Option two: If we don't get such person, we can use Virtual LAN. Works like LAN, but using a special utility (see "Hamachi" - not the fish tho'), so that anybody who joins that V-LAN (anywhere around the world) can join. The problem with this one is, that when such program is installed, it can mess with your connection settings.
