Hi! I recently bought IL2 1946 and have been wanting to mod it so that I could play Boelcke's dynamic campaign mods for the Western Front. I followed a tutorial online and have everything downloaded in the correct place (The download wizard said that it was successful) but on the intro splash screen where it is supposed to say "HSFX7" it doesn't (It is completely updated. Any ideas? PS: Is there any way to get my IL2 completely back to stock (exactly the way I bought it) so that I can try again and back it up? (I didn't backup the game or files beforehand. Dumb mistake on my part)

Time for you to read a few read mes.
In your HSFX Game folder is a folder called (oddly enough) :
"HSFX V7 Tools and Read Me's"
In this folder is a PDF file called (again , oddly enough) :
"HSFX 7.0 Read Me"
There is also a plethora of other very helpful material here.
You will also note (within your HSFX Game folder) an Executable called JSGME.exe
Run this executable and you will see that you likely do (barring a corrupt download , or an operator error)
have HSFX installed ; you just need to enable it.
Following this , explore the HSFX Discussion and Support Thread near the bottom of the SAS Homepage.
Next thing is to make yourself familiar with the new member safety area and the Tech Help Using Mods area.
There is never a dumb question , but it can look that way if you don't do a little bit of work before you ask . Most questions have already been asked and answered.
If you come up with an original good for you - it will probably help a lot of others enjoy IL21946/HSFX.
Enjoy HSFX - still the king of online modpacks (my opinion only).
