This is Craig Richardson's Fs 2004 Ryan-NYP " Spirit of St.Louis " from his defunct Classic Wings website. All credit for this model is Craigs. I simply ported it into game.
Still have the cockpit to complete on this one then she'll be ready to go.

WHoa....whoa...I mean..like..whoa!!!!
Make the cockpit nice and when you get it done. be ready to see this one in a video -
( Yes I'll have to fake the New York take off, but that's OK..We have an Ocean, Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe and searchlights! )
"The Spirit of St. Louis" with James Stewart is one of my favorite movies.
Real nice.. 8)

I look foward to it !

WOW! :o Now that is a classic "blast from the past".
The model looks cool. Must be scary to fly this thing. The pilot did not have a front view ;D He had to
fly by Periscope!
Our IL2-1946 Aviation Museum is growing into a very cool collection of Worldwide Classics.
And the coolest thing is, we can fly into the sky (or CRASH) any airplane in the museum! :D

You could probably use the periscope view of the Ar-234 I surmise.
-
Thanks for the tip P-51.
I'll take a look and see if that'll work.

You cancelled because I said that about the cockpit picture?
Hey, forget about the picture. ;D

Not to be against you but the question of the girl picture was a little bit frovolus but if he canceled the development it seems to me disproportionate

From a Moderator perspective I agree about the issue being brought up.
The tone was a bit alarmist, but no immediate harm was done, no accusation made, a simple oversight brought up.
The reaction is a bit disproportionate and I hope after a cooling phase everyone here can come back to normal stress levels.
The cockpit looked like a real gem.

Guys and gals, relax, I am sure it has nothing to do with the cockpit photo.
I just mentioned it in the following post because I saw the "Cancelled" label on this WIP this evening.
I meant no harm and it is a fine looking aircraft all around. I have deleted my previous post about the used cockpit image,
I am sorry.
I personally like it when someone suggests to me or even informs me as to what may be wrong, or much needed, on a skin I paint.
I take it as constructive criticism. That way I learn to make it better next time, or make it a diferent way which pleases everyone.

Finish this, Bro!
I'm new to this community.
SAS has some of the smartest, most creative ( and close knit ) enthusiasts I've ever seen.
As a web guy that started doing airbrush illustration 30 years ago and doing web dev now I can tell ya..
When an apprentice becomes a journeyman they often have a library of "rules" and methods acquired in training and required to be competent.
As time goes on - they discard many compulsory considerations in favor of becoming more efficient.
If their work is consistent and good, they can afford to listen to criticism, learn from it..and take it on their own terms.
The modder/members here can be discerning and intimidating, but they've been at it a long time.
Personally I'm looking forward to this plane no matter how long it takes. I'm already setting up to make the video..
"It was a love of the air and sky and flying, the lure of adventure, the appreciation of beauty. It lay beyond the descriptive words of men — where immortality is touched through danger, where life meets death on equal plane; where man is more than man, and existence both supreme and valueless at the same time."
~ Charles Lindbergh - "The Spirit of St. Louis"
