but the new FM pulls over like a horse...
You mean torque?...it has over 2000hp and a huge six blade prop...and tiny rudders :)I just took this one for a test yesterday, expecting a significant torque effect with the new FM in place.
I've tried to actualy position rudder forces near the center of gravity...but then I get a plane that is so directionaly unstable that it can't perform a simple roll.So this is a small compromise just to keep it flyable ;)No problem, I'm perfectly fine with this (as with the plane at all), just wanted to mention it.
About AoA,maybe it just looks massive because elevators lift the nose instead of lowering the tail (where pilot sits at the pivot point)...Yes maybe. I'll have to track this down later (maybe this weekend) with wingtip smoke on and from a slightly increased distance.
I know this plane was actualy built but it never saw action so some may call this a what if plane but I would love to see this one "grow" a bit into what if the Japanese made a carrier version. Folding wings just outside the tail fins and a tail hook for recovery. The carrier version for deploying them to attack B-29s from anywhere in the pacific.

Jet version anyone??? Also, loving this!
J7W2
Yes it's might be funny!!!!
Has anyone noticed sth wrong with the Torque? the prop spins clockwise and the torque also. shouldnt it be the other way around? so when you take off the airplane should start leaning on the right rather than on the left.
..or maybe i'm wrong
anyways can someone plz add the in game 30mm cannons from the ki84
as well as a lighter 20mm gun loadout
I actually think army and navy had two seperate 30mm guns, so it may not be the same.
AAA is gone, most of the contents was moved to AAS.

Best regards - Mike
Thanks Mike (for comments and your invaluable help) and Cirx. Just a small update. Kodama has given me permission to post the Henschel P-75 as a WIP, so in the next day or 2 I will start that thread and have some better pictures as I progress.
Regards
Why isn't spent cartridge case ejection modelled in the J7W1?
I can't find any references as to where the ejection ports may have been positioned - maybe the spent cases were collected in a bag to prevent them bouncing off the propeller blades or getting sucked into the air intakes.
This is a gem! You cant have 1946 without it. B-29s be scared! I cant beleive this wonderful adition. The model is good looking and the decision to use the P-63 flight model. Its as touchy as I imagined the real thing to be.
Congratulations on a great addition. Now where is the jet version? :P
Really, Thank You
Now my J7 is still beta and plan to large update for 3D model .
Zoukeimura( plastic model maker) will publish J7's book in this autumn-winter.

I expect that this book give me new information for modeling.
Hi guys. im happily using some version of Kodama's J7W1. but can someone tell me the link to the latest version of his J7W, because that link in first post lead to the some dead page....
In past (very close past) the link was working correctly...but now i cant check if there is some updated version of this Mod, i even cant compare my version with latest (if there is some newer)- to see the changes and bugfixes.
So please can me someone give the link to the latest ver? is some "Live" link where i can download latest version of J7W1 mod?
But If You want to know more about actual development
of Kodama's J7W1 MOD look into thread in "Requests" section called
"B7A..."
there are also the pics (URL) to WIP's and I've uploaded them to share with other mates here.
I have some fresh info about latest development in J7W1 Mod same as other prepared Mod-planes like
J4M1, Mansyu (Manshu) Ki-98, Ki-83 and B7A2 Ryusei.
They all will be probably released in one pack.
Look there and you will see new details about it.
Where is the download link , please ?http://damawo.blog99.fc2.com/blog-category-3.html
You need to check you have inputed the correct air, plane and weapon txt lines into their correct files, also what 'buttons' are you using in DBW?
Are those skins on page one on a link now that actually works?.............
Would like to download those..
Cheers
Hoss
The skins made by me and posted at Mission4Today (Download4theMods section) will
fit very nicely the first version of this airplane made by Kodama.
- The second airplane version he built he changed the model skin around a little bit and the old skins
do not fit anymore. So ONLY the old skins fit into the first version and the second version still needs a new skin-template for it.
Anyway, I don´t know which version airplane you are flying now, but donwload some skins
and test them on the airplane to see if they fit properly. I believe the jet version also uses the
old skins, so its cool to fly.

Jet versions (as well as field mod. and CRP) are using old-mapping skins. The one from M4T. I used MAX_thehitman skins as new default.
As for original Kodama's J7W1, version from Sept 2011 with new mapping - you can
1) patch it to old mapping by installing it: https://www.mediafire.com/?51uye1b5iw060jj
2) and then use old skins from M4T
Wow
I found one of his old blog pages and before the J7W1 kodama was working on a Ki-83 project which, from the pictures, had reached quite an advanced stage. Will he be releasing this too?

:)
Some times ago I found strange that the J7W had a single 7,7mm machine gun in the nose, second picture for reference.
Anyone have any of these skins still? All links return to 404.
Please too much and much about throwing skin lines from Gumpy and SAS ~ highlander_262, all dead.all I have ;):
Thank you
Thank you so much!Anyone have any of these skins still? All links return to 404.
They were posted many many years ago by Highlander_262. He has since retired (I think).
I will look into my skin files and see if I can discover them again. At the moment I have skin files saved up
in diferent portable terabyte boxes, but I know I have them somewhere.
While you wait, try these other skins I posted, if you wish . . .

Tried link and asks to pay money for a premium trial. is there another mediafire link.
