Looks like someplace in the Colorado River valley. Good choice for a map, lots of fun terrain, minimal map populating problems.

It is, with all new textures, but more than just a retexturing. There is an expanded actors file with added and more detailed airfields. Everything that was there in the original map still is, so any missions from the original should still work. And I created a new elevation table for microdem so that the lake is now set to sea level, with the terrain going up from there. This eliminates some ship problems with having lakes above sea level. It should be ready in a week or so. -viking

Did you add paved runways unlike the V1 of this at AAA which had only grass runways?

Glad to know my old missions will work, I was thinkin' WOW that looks similar to Death Valley last year atleast textures wise, but in the back of my mind, I kept hoping I wouldn't have to redo some missions for this map, some of which I spent 3-10 hours on. Made marked runways,taxiways,thresholds, VASI lighting system for IL2, Proper holdshort and runway markings, fuel areas for Zuti users. But am finally happy with it, its a blast to take the Texan in formation through it with squadmates.
